Turamber is Leaving the Building

In discussions with various people who have ram carrying tanks it seemed most of them just required aug strength 1/2 and lifter 1/2, so I respecced once to aug strength 2 lifter 2 ... was encumbered; used up my last respec to get aug strength 3 and lifter 3 ... which still didn't cut the mustard.

It turns out now that the people I was talking to have highlander Paladins ... big difference Also if all +strength items he is wearing came into the equation he would easily be able to carry the ram -- but there is a ceiling put on the total of +strength adjustment which is allowed.

Tried to use this supposed 3rd realm respec - but Lady Triss tells me I've used up both available realm respecs.

Yes I dropped the ball, and okay I'm guilty of not knowing all the ins and outs of the game system. But just to be told that they're not willing to help me out as they're not at fault ... well, it sucks. Customer disservice at it's very best.

afaik the only classes who can easily carry rams are the classes with selfbuffs.

And why do you need to carry a whole ram? i wouldn't waste RSP on that uke:

Heh, thanks for the comments guys - makes me feel a lot happier about cancelling my subby and not having to play with dickwads

I was respeccing to try and help the realm ... it's been noted how there is a severe shortage of rams on relic raids, so people that can carry and deploy a ram themself are invaluable.

Mids & Hibs might not have noticed but we don't actually have that many clerics around these days - so buffs are not readily available for Albion tanks. In a lot of cases those level 50 clerics have just been turned into bots to buff their infiltrator alts.

If you read both of my posts in this thread I've not blamed anyone else. But I'm not a power gamer, I'm a professional person with a life away from a game ... so you'll excuse me if I don't happen to know 100% of the calculations of how such things are worked out.

Suffice it to say that I messed up, GOA aren't interested and, to be honest, neither am I anymore. It was fun, now I'm history.
