It's rare for washing machines and tumble driers to last too long these days, nothing much seems to be "built to last".
That's pretty much my way of looking at things. I won't claim to be able to fix anything but I'm not afraid to try - and what's more, we have the internet full of service manuals for everything from washing machines to rampant rabbits, theres always someone who's found a nack, always someone that's repaired that particular item at least once.
I have been buying condensing type tumble dryers but get through about 1 a year which cant be great
Buy Bosch or Miele and you won't have to fix it, because it won't break.
jesus how often do you use it.. (see my reply above) but you must use it all the time after every wash or something.. try a washing line or clothes horse or something similar to dry stuff.. think of the Polar Bears ffs
