Fair enough

Edit - In other ACM related news they have a choir in that new BBC reality show that's been advertised, my friend is in it.

Sorry to highjack the thread a bit, but is anyone aware of where a post-grad doing a masters can get a loan? The student loans company don't provide for post-grads unfortunately and the tuition fees alone are £7.5k!

scour the uni site/google for funding/bursaries/scholarships. its lucky its not more - the masters i wanted to do was £17k...

Whats the qualification you get from ACM, not a Bachelors Degree then?

Ouch. This is kind of worrying as I've kind of put all my eggs in one basket not opting to do a sandwich year on my course and instead am aiming to do a masters in computer applications as I know already what I want to do with it.

Looks like I'm gonna have to ace this final year of my degree then to get some sort of sponsorship :(

If you want to do masters/phd's i'd start looking towards the middle of your 2nd year, or at the latest very start of your 3rd year. Those kinds of things fill quickly, for obvious reasons.

Have a look. At my university if you got a 2:1 or a first and continued on to do a masters at the same Uni you got 20% off or something. I think the final total for me to do a masters in accounting and finance would have been around 7000.
