that happened to me m8 with a nova.. they STILL aint sorted it.. bout 6 months ago, now the car is off the road ready for the scrapper cuz its missing it's chassis lol. He has a new car but I aint sure if he's gotta keep the old one till the insurance is sorted or wot not.

Vestax PMC 05 Pro Mk2's are going for less than 300 notes atm. The 06 Pro (slimline version) can be had for less than 270 quid. My Intimidation Blue is on the verge of cross fader death so I reckon I'll either go silly and buy an 07 Pro or fucking insane and get the 37 Pro coz it has an extra channel for my CDJ 500.

I hadnt turned me decks on for like 2 months, me room has been upside down with new choon system shit and jus generally havin no cash for vinyl... the only practise I've had has been @ me m8s as he's always buyin tunes... my mixers crossfader is a bit fooked too, I mixed for an hour (well, tried to but the crossfader kept lettin both channels thru so i had to jus mix usin the channels volume controls instead and ignore the crossfader) then turned everythin off cuz i was annoyed

That KL10 wud do meh nicely... in an ideal world mixers would come before rent and bills lol

I dont like Nova's this week. I like Rover 100's instead lol Cant say Audi's float my boat really.. not raw enuff for me. Nice cars though I spose.

At this moment in time, DJ styleee - I dont play much of anything! Can't afford no vinyl... but when I get back into it again, I think I will start to play techno/tech trance. Run of the mill euphoric/uplifting trance has had it's day if you ask me. A lot of new stuff sounds well cheesy. Of course you still get good releases but I'd rather listen to it than DJ with it.

I'm new to techno though so gotta learn all these ickle sub-styles of it... I like the harder faster stuff, like peeps such as Umek, Picotto (don't slate him, he's mint!), Kitikonti etc play. I dont wanna get too 'hardcore' into that scene as it seems to get more and more boom boom nothing else the deeper u get into it most people are on pills tho and thats lame IMO.

My decks aint quite 1210's But next year/late this year I'll get some. I have Soundlab DLP3R's and believe me - if I can mix on these fuckers, I can mix on anythin

heh I went from playing on Terralec belt drive decks and onto a set of 1210's IN A FUCKING CLUB and the difference was so great I had to learn how to mix all over again.
On the night

Play what you want, and what is good. Dont be cowed into a little pidgeon hole with your music, there's a huge selection to choose from and limiting yourself would be silly.

TUG: I hope you're refferring to the Verdi/Baguette side of Picotto, as oposed to the Pulsar/Iguana/Like-this-like-that side. It seems every other release of his is a quality piece of hard techno and each alternative one is a Lizard clone. Ever heard of consistency?
I'm more into non-gloomy progressivey stuff at the mo - give these guys a listen and see what you think (they're getting a UK label really soon - def. one lot to keep an eye on). I'm working on a remix of 'Heatseeker'
