Hello and good day fellow Midgardians of Excalibur.

First of all; you can take this thread as whine if you want.

Here goes:
I was the lucky winner of a career stone at a dragon raid long time ago. As I didn't have to respec any of my characters I would like to sell it.
One day there was a guy writing in /as that he wanted to buy a career stone. This guys name is 'Krang' member of <The Overlords>. This Suited me fine, cuz he wanted to pay me 7p for it.
Now this is where the "history" is getting a bit tricky in my eyes, hang on:
This Krang guy had no money that day he were going to buy it off me. Talked a lot with him, and it came out to, that it was not the "real" Krang, just one of his danish friends who did some buisness for "the real" Krang. At the start I of course didnt want to trade my stone when this guy had no money. Talked a bit further to the "unreal-danish-Krang" guy, and he said that he was Morkai from the newcomer famous rvr guild <The Domination>, which is also true
I was talked into, that the "real-Krang-guy"'s friend owed him 15p and would get them to pay me off when this friend logged on.

At this point you can think: "lol, stupid arse trading without getting money first.." and stop reading I trusted another dane(I'm dane myself).

This "friend of the real-swede-Krang" never logged on, or the "real-swedish-Krang" used his 15p on something else. I have no clue.
Right, I PMed the real Krang again when he logged on and met him at Uppland where he handed me 400g and some seals. Told me that DF was in Albions hands so he couldnt farm. And that I could PM him every day and get 1p untill he had payed me off.
I'm a man filled with patience, so I agreed that.
Time went by, had to cancel SC job, had to cancel transfers .. on and on..

Yesterday, a month later.. I PMed the dane, Morkai who is really friendly to me. Of course he didnt want any troubles, cuz he was just the one making the transfer for "the real swedish Krang" and he contacted Krang immediatly on his MSN list. Tabbed into DAoC again and told me, that he couldnt believe that I havent got the money yet, as he just gave Krang 8p so he could pay me off.
Sounded nice to me, so I agreed to wait for Krang logging in that evening. Krang logged in and I spoke to him, calmly. He told me he were gonna take a "btat"(anyone know what this is? ) and was to be right back.
Evening turned to night, and Krang logged without a single word. I was waiting untill 04:00 that night for him to log on again. But he never did.

At around breakfast today I logged in, waiting again. Krang showed up on my friends monitor and I PMed him. I was now told that it was not the real Krang playing, but one of his irl mates. Fine I told this irl mate to tell Krang to come online asap. Again: Im a man filled with patience. The irl friend told me that Krang only got 33g on his char.

This is where it ends. My patience is used up now

Again: it might be whine, but I just want to warn you fellow Midgardians out there not to trade with this guy again. He is not nice I can tell you

Sad sad happend to me to but it was a GUILDY he said i would get money for the stone as soon as we had df i waited for about a week or a week and a half and then i read on our guilds forum that he had quit the game so here i am all broke

The thing is, never trust some1 with items they promise to pay for, especialy expensive items.. i lost 5 glowy Dartmoor sword that day, that i had ben offord 3p for, was going to keep em myself, but sold em for 1p to a "friend" of mine, that i had know for a month through DaoC,that just HAD to have those swords. i gave him the swords, he told me that the money was on a alt, and he loged.. never seen him again. so there i lost 5 glowy swords, or 3p

and i am sorry to say but u should NEVER trade when u dont get teh money/items etc in return but i agree it is sad...

I'm not sure they do, i think as far as GOA and the CoC are concerned ingame trades are the responsability of the individual players, or somthing like that.

I rememeber seeing the 'Dark Wolfs' website - made me laugh as how easy they made it look to con people out of stuff. But what really made me laugh was that Mythic tied their hands with the CoC or whatever, and they actually managed to get the people they'd conned shit out of banned for harrassment

GOA cant realy do anything here, although his language in /s on the pad is definatley a suspension / banning offence, as indeed is the account sharing he seems to do.

Having said that, whos knows who the "real" Krang is.

Moral of the tale - never trade with unknowns, even a fellow countryman will stitch you up given the chance.

I can tell u that Krang is a really nice guy and he never scammed or will scam any1.. about the cash there was a misunderstanding..

I had to pay for the stone but the guy who owed me 15 p didnt pay me the money yet and kept drivin it far where he couldnt reach...

I mean thats why krang couldnt pay Hijinxx its becouse of the guy who owed me cash... and i cant pay Hijinxx before i get em from my mate.. so sorry about ur stone.

But shit happens and whining sux imo
take this as a lesson
