Seriously, is it me or is this program just softcore porn in Hill Billy land?

I'm on episode 9 of series 1 and I think every character has had one or two sex scenes throughout all the episodes!

The core story has been pretty sluggish, nothings really happened and I am really holding high hopes for this show.

I'd love for them to introduce a story arc of some importance, cause if it's just a front to show softcore porn, I'll go to CorNokZ's house!

It gets better, really worth sticking with. I agree the excessive sex scenes definately detract from the story (imo) but they calm down towards the end of Season 1.

I've just blitzed season one on Tuesday and I have to say I really enjoyed it, the sex and the language was nice to see tbh. After all I doubt it would be realistic if there wasn't loads of banging and drugs and vampires!!!!

Season two has more sex and it rocks!!

The producers went with the premise that "sex sells" and it worked.
Initial viewing figures were pretty good.

Stick with it, it starts to expand out and get better at the end of the series.

The show is great, really enjoyed series one... Im trying to stop myself downloading series 2 and 3 but hoping that SFX gets the second season quickly

yeah sex sells, if you're 13!...it just gets in the way of the story lol. Ok you could have the vampires fucking a couple of times to promote "fang bangers", but Jason has sex pretty much every episode.

Its well worth watching, its worth sticking through the first 3-4 episodes as well. The Stackhouses' are a little annoying to start with but its worth a watch

The Vamp's are excellent as well, (Erik is 'theman'!)

i watched like 2 episodes of it, but i found the 'almost hot' factor of the female star kind of distracting. its like you look at her and go 'oh shes hot' and then suddenly from another angle she isnt after all. way much mental work for a tv show!

but it has an awesome theme song. listening to it right now.

Also, if you happen to have a chance, watch vampire diaries.

First episode will make you gringe, go "blargh!" and want to kill someone for the teenage overload...but then something happens and it turns really good

True Blood is ace, waiting for season 3 to be released and yea it does have alot of softcore scenes in along with bizzare names like Sookie (lol) must admit tho Anna Paquin (sookie) is hot.

Agree with orgy stuff, but series two had some decent stuff in. The Vampire Queen and the Church of Light. In fact It would have been better to concentrate on those storylines rather than the orgies and town going nuts.

It was part of the whole story arc, Sookie and Bill being out of the village and Sam being hunted!!! More orgies!!
