A problem has risen. The CMD console does not recognize the Ipconfig command, and many other commands that SHOULD work, it just says: IPCONFIG is not an internal command or whatever blabla. Help!

ipconfig.exe is an excutable file within windows/system32/ Start there and check its sitting in the folder.

If it is, i'd be looking at virus/spyware hyjack thats preventing command prompt commands running.

If its not available then you looking at a broken install. You could Extract the ones you need from your windows install disc but you might find it hard to get a full list. Some are .exe's some are part of command.com some are neither.

just typing "ipconfig" only works because the directory that the ipconfig executable is in is in your "path". Type "set" and find the "Path=" bit.

Check that "C:\windows\system32" is in there
