Trouble logging in

Hi all,

Here's the sit-rep :

Got into closed beta, been playing fine.

Closed beta finished, stress test starts.

Try to log in, and get the "files may be corrupt" error message.

Can't find a patch for the installer or anything.

So, I've downloaded the Open Beta installer, and am installing atm. I also noticed (and this was the ONLY place that mentioned it) on the front page of Fileplanet, that there is a note saying that you need to uninstall previous versions before installing the new one.

Anyone have any further information as this is not mentioned on the official site all.

Any help gratefully rewarded with thoughts...

Yes, you need to uninstall first... or just swap the exe's out since nothing else (apart from the intro movie) has changed. (to the best of my knowledge)

I'm not sure it will work later on, but it will work this time around, atleast according to the forums over at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com

Got it working after an unin/reinstall. Thanks for the info!!
