Myself and a friend are planning a week trip in europe, we were thinking october/november to avoid peak season

We were thinking belgium, holland, germany then denmark (going here to meet some friends)
So essentially only time for 1 city a location give or take, abotu 2 days per stop

Any suggestions for different places? things to see in respective places?

Cheers in advance

Well, what most people would do:

Brussel, Amsterdam, Berlin, Kopenhagen... (or hamburg instead of berlin, easier to travel)

I can advice

Belgium:
Antwerpen, Brugge

Netherlands:
Groningen, Arnhem, Maastricht

Germany:
-

Denmark:
Århus, Odense, Copenhagen (oohw, do the bridge between Copenhagen and Malmö, it's quite a feat of engineering :))

amsterdam's got so many really cool places one of the things you might like to do it a canal cruise, they do pizza cruises too i think you get the tickets either from outside grand central station or opposite the hard rock cafe (if you go anywhere near the HR cafe get a strawberry daiquiri they rock lol) and in leidersplein (sp?) go to the argintinian steak house i shit you not, best steaks ever!

rembrandts house is great to go look about in and the reichts museum (again lol sp?) is also really cool.

ooh just remembered this while in the bath, in rembrandsplein (sp?) they had a lifesized bronze series of statues of the night watch (If you go to the richts (sp?) museum you can see the painting first then go and wander around the characters, its pretty cool but not sure if its still there.

failing that theres the giant statue of a willy in the dam square.

start off in holland first, you can stop off in Preston and see me before you fly from Blackpool!
