It's possibly I may sound like a wanker for saying that, however I certainly got a point. Even in our "democratic" world, where every human supposedly is invaluable, told so by our politicians - rest assured that it's only being said to comfort the feelings of the mob, we're all expendable (just look at the amount of prisoners taken from I-countries in Guatanamo) band those in the third world countries even more so. If there isn't a profit to be gained, and preferably an immediate one! ... the powerstructure doesn't care - after all, it's not like they're going to live forever, most likely will just get voted out too anyways.



I don't play games to find out what's going on in the world - for that, I prefer to watch the news when I wake up, read my paper while sitting in the train, check on news site when I come back home and again later on, watching the evening news. Hence, I prefer to consider myself "relatively" updated on what's happening around the world.

Oh, and I do know the meaning of a memorial - if it's that important to show your condolences to the "world", shouldn't you rather go put some flowers at the local embassy or maybe make a website where people could get their indulgence, instead of 1) dragging it into something which is somewhat irrelevant (only somewhat, since we are still humans and still have feelings - or some does ), 2) forcing it onto the rest of us, who might not agree with it interfering in our game?



Sure, that's natural, nationalism is the word that crosses my mind. However, that's still no reason why it should be forced down onto the rest of us, if the Spanish guilds wants to do something together, let them - that's still no reason why it should affect everyone else, by bringing it into a zone in which were built for fighting each other - It's no secret that the three zones Emain, Odins and Hadrians is where the majority of the fights happens, simply because they're out of guard patrols. No one is saying that it can't be held somewhere else, for instance, say that a Spanish guild took control of the Snowdonia keep, and invited every other Spanish player up there, just not reporting on /as when a patrol might die... Voilá, ceremonial in a place where the chance of getting interfered in is next to zero - instead of comming here and tell everyone to basicly fuck off from this and that zone, cuz now it's theirs Oo

However, unlike what people may think, probably thinking that I'm just a cold-hearted bitch, I've never given my view of what I really think about what's happened in Spain - ofcourse I ain't exactly clapping my hands together, on the contrary. Rather, my points so far has merely been that a memorial is irrelevant for a game, and that people doesn't give a shit unless it's happening to their neighbour, despite they claim otherwise (insert all that humanistic shite yourself in this space | |).

We're humans and we'll take advantage of each other and we'll have to pay the consequences for that, till the bloody end
