Trem + Digger FTW!!

After requests for pictures of my progress I have decided to start a new thread.

I have hired a digger to do my drive, I have never driven a digger before so the possibilities of a broken house/body are quite high.

The delivery driver is an old mate of mine who I haven't seen for years so luckily I could ask him a few things, "its dead easy" he said, we shall see.

So anyway the first pic shows just how close the digger is parked to my front window, I have to move it away from there as my first job, not forgetting I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN ONE BEFORE!!! -

Just having a coffee then I am going for it, wish me luck.

Well yeah the gas mains are really not that low below ground, may leave the digger alone when I get to that bit of the drive. Bust a gas mains and it costs £400 to get them out.

AHA!! No accidents yet, gone mighty close to the NTL line though and I seem to be making a bit of a crater so I need to address that otherwise as you come into the drive in a car it will sort of drop in rather than roll in.

Samm does know about this but she wasn't very happy, I don't think she slept much last night. She has text me once today and it said "please don't break the house".

That tree that is still standing is my favourite ever tree, trying to keep it alive through all this.
