Crossing something to get over/past it. It's not a hobby or interest per se, merely a verb. Not very interesting but there you go.

in climbing ?

I think that would be climbing up one side, and going down the other side,
thus Traversing the mountian, or hill or bumb on the road ?

i found that term in a game and got intrested in it but i couldn't find any info on wikipedia.com , seems it got deleted .

in climbing terms its means up and over. We used it in the army

*Cough* - in the army it might mean that, but in the rock climbing work to traverse something means you go from one side to the other (Left to right, right to left). Rather than up and over.
