tranquility of Odins Gate

whats up with Odins Gate, i have been there on a fair few occasions as a Guild group after running in emain for a fair while and getting bogged down in zerg warfair. Perhaps we shall get a nice 1on1 group fight in odins we think, and yet when we go there nothing is to be seen or heard. I seem to remember when you would get a few full groups running around there. Would be nice to see more people there, i know people say it's good to go solo, but peak time in the evenings it would also be nice to see full groups running there. Perhaps not the fully TOA'd high realm rank groups but even random groups who wouldn't do well in emain.
I dunno it just seems a waste of good rvr ground and would perhaps help to cut down on some of the congestion in Emain at the mo.

Soloed there in the mornings/afternoons, but got fed up of 1-2 soloers all day then suddenly 1FG hibs around lunchtime.

personally I have seen more fg's there then soloers which is a shame, i'd rather there was more solo and duo action.

Indeed, or the 2fg hibs/mids running there now :/ extremely frustrating to get run over without a chance to fight.

Whats more annoying is the 1 - 8 random alb stealthers, who dont attack a soloer - but if that soloer meets another soloer, they all add. Very annoying tbh

haven't been in odins for weeks....come to think of it, last time i was there i spotted the 15fg alb zerg piling through AMG into jamtland

anywas...i was under the impression it was deserted, but i'll check it out again even if that means running all the way on hastener speed from vindsaul

My group of 6 middies.. (rr2 healer, shamanbot, thane, rr2 SM, warrior, skald) killed Herbal+Zoyster+friends little exp party in Odin's last night and that felt SOO good

Herbal tried to escape when he realized he was screwed.. But you never came back

When I used to play DAoC, Odin's was my prime spot. It was fun because it combined lots of solo/ duo fights and then in the evening you'd get the respected FG fights. But advancing toward ToA it became a nightmare, Hibernia zerged more, then Albion did. I don't know about Midgard, but they were few; maybe one group every week, (obviously not a problem anymore ) everyone knew the ideals couldn't last. One way or another more people were going to move into Odin's as it is the next hotspot after Emain, so you can't really moan about it not lasting. On Prydwen Odin's is as good as Hadrian's Wall; empty (or atleast it was when I used to play). You should just venture to Hadrian's Wall more often, afterall that's how Odin's became popular.
