When that BarryBeer was on, i asked if someone had any Websites which would tell me how long it would get to Destination A to Destination B.

Well, this is *kind* of the same thing, i was wondering if anyone had any websites which told you how to get to Destination B by a "map" of the railway, telling you all the Train Stations you go past on the way to B.

heh and adams, thats the website i used to gain info about what stations to get off at and leave from, but what i am after is a website which tells you all the Train Stations you pass on the way the destination B.

Umm why would you want to know what stations you go through..... Are you a train spotter?

most websites will only show you the stations that the train will call at but if its a particular journey you are after i could have a look at it on the system we have at work (railtrack) and get you a route list.

Well i have this all out fear of actually missing Destination B.. i dont know if its possible to do such a thing, but because ive never really used the rail system in many many years kinda looks scary....

SG its really not rocket science m8, the train will stop for more than long enough for you to gather yourself and get off

Besides which the timetable on www.railtrack.co.uk will at least show you the last station the train stops at before your destination and you can ready yourself to disembark

Why not ask for a route map/timetable from the rail station you are leaving from...

It has all the stations the train will stop at....

we have that at work but it wasnt the one i would use, the one i use is called TRUST which can show you all train route lists, can find where trains are/were at any given time and track loco movements, and a whole lot more of which i wont go into cos its boring.

Trains are really fast and they don't have a steering wheel like cars. SG is a big girl for worrying so much.

Fast you say?, hmm I never seen a fast train, I have on the other hand seen trains that crawl along at 5mph and stop at every set of signals, that is of course when they are not cancelled or delayed for hours.

Trains have red lights too you know.....it means the train cannot continue ahead due to another train

In fact train signals have 3 aspects....green (very rare but means all clear to continue), Amber (train can continue through amber light but must slow and ready to stop) and red (stop right there and dont move).
