twat should be lined up and shot in the head,
no, better, chained to the road spread eagle style and have a car slowly drive and reverse over his limbs before making its way to something more important

I am most definitely biased, but when morons like him fall off and actually get hit, causing hours of train delays to hundreds of people, including myself who doesnt get home till 2am with work at 8 in the morning the next day.. its not clever and its not funny

They should get signs saying "f*** off and die elsewhere" and staple them to their foreheads so they get the message

I dont get this kind of attitude. I can half understand you being annoyed at the irresponsibility of the person, but that kind of punishment is something only very malicious people deserve imo, what he is doing is not in any way malicious.

If I had nothing to lose, like him, I could see myself doing or trying to do something equally outrageous. Atleast that way when you're gone you know you might be remembered for something, rather than just fading away.

You are getting angry about all this just because it could cause you to be held up for a few hours. Where as this person KNOWS for a fact that he's going to die of a terminal illness, imagine how that would make you feel?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I might half understand if you just said "what an irresponsible person", but coming and saying stuff like that, "fuck off and die elsewhere" and talking about having a car reverse over him, its just wrong in a multitude of different ways imo.

theres living life to the full and theres puting yourself under the reapers blade.

Say it is real, yeah the guy died 1 year later, but what if he died during the filming of that vid, thats a whole year his family could of had with him down the pan, gone forever. All because he wanted to live life to the fullest. Living life to the full does not equal putting yourself in danger like that thats just being plain dumb.

On a slight side note i knew someone whos car was hit by a guy falling from a bridge above because he tryed to walk along the fence... hes dead ofc and the lass who he landed on has never driven since and lost her job from the traumer of it.
All because that git wanted to show off to his mates....theres 2 lives down the pan pretty much, totaly fking stupid

Causing 5-7 hours of trains delays is not being remebered in a good light, 1000's of people thinking your a cunter is not a good thing.

Yes but neither is knowing that you're about to die of luekemia.

What I was trying to say is that yes, it was irresponsible and I can understand people being unimpressed by him because of the potential for train delays he caused. However, he still did something to be remembered by - when I say that I mean by the people who see what he did on the video or hear about it through word of mouth, rather than the people who may have been annoyed through the train delay's caused by him being splattered all over the rails.

The fact is he didnt cause delays, probably 9 out of 10 people on the train probably didnt even realise that he was there. It was irresponsible yes, but I still think it was half understandable given his circumstances.

supposidly, chances are i was added to somehow justify his stupidity
the fact is a train driver who hits someone could remain traumatised by the experience and be no longer able to work,
not only that the family very likely will try and sue the train company (and most likely win) for not stopping him doing it, including fines from health and safety, again beiing passed down to the commuter
All because he couldnt "live life to the full" like a normal person
There is no half about it, he is a selfish moron who cares about noone but himself so should be treated accordingly
I have no sympathy for him whatsoever

My creative descriptions of ways to die were illustrating the point that if he wanted to die a painful and gruesome death he can do it elsewhere

He gets off the train, drives 100mph outside a school, doesnt hit anyone so its ok just because he supposidly knows he is going to die
thats what your saying right?

I don't think being hit by a high speed train at cruising speed is painfull, should imagine it's instant :p

thats what your saying right?

Thats not what I'm saying at all and I cant believe that you dont see that. Are you choosing to see it like this just to carry this on or what?

I said that what he was doing isnt in any way malicious, he isnt doing this with the intent to scare people or to harm them. At worst if he came off the train he could cause a train driver to be traumatised, this is the only way inwhich he is liable to cause harm. In your example at worst he could kill someone else, so your example is taking what I said in completely the wrong context. The part about sueing the train company is almost completely irrelevant tbh.

I stand by what I said: It was irresponsible yes, but I still think it was half understandable given his circumstances.

There is no half about it, he is a selfish moron who cares about noone but himself so should be treated accordingly

And talking about selfish? What you said comes over as more than a little selfish tbh. "fuck off and die elsewhere" basically so he doesnt cause any delays to a train you could be travelling on?

Part of the reason for my thinking could be because my nan is dying of cancer, and seeing the state she is in is not very fucking nice even though the worst is yet to come.

Knowing shes on a very limited time, we try to make every second count, taking her out to see places she's wanted to see, and to do things she wanted to do.

Its not that you do everything regardless of how irresponsible it is, just that you try to understand the reasons behind it. This person was irresponsible, i have already agreed with you there, but quibbling about the costs that could but didnt occur is just a little silly imo.

I am not saying the sun shines out of his backside, or even that I completely agree with what he did, but I understand partially the reasons behind what he did.

My creative descriptions of ways to die were illustrating the point that if he wanted to die a painful and gruesome death he can do it elsewhere

Sorry but saying that (imo) makes it sound like you think anyone who is doing something irresponsible because they're suffering from a terminal illness should be put down in the most horrible way possible.

This is why I took offense a little to your original post. If you were not saying that then fine, but if you were then I strongly disagree.

At worst only the train driver could be effected in a negative way?
why is the business of everyone on that train any less relevant
At worst he could cause someone serious injury to the passenger if they fall because of the driver suddenly braking, he will injure more than 1 person in at least a minor way when it does.

In your example at worst he could kill someone else, so your example is taking what I said in completely the wrong context.
Explain how? he may not have the intent of killing someone, but it still could happen because (as you agree) of his irresponsible behaviour regardless of his intentions. You are saying how can i not see your point, how can you not see the fact that his intentions have no effect on the result at all

The part about sueing the train company is almost completely irrelevant tbh.
Not really, again another example of how his actions will affect others

I stand by what I said: It was irresponsible yes, but I still think it was half understandable given his circumstances.
doesnt make it any more right

And talking about selfish? What you said comes over as more than a little selfish tbh. "fuck off and die elsewhere" basically so he doesnt cause any delays to a train you could be travelling on?
Im sorry, are you seriously trying to twist this so that i, who have every right to be where i am (little choice in reality), am being selfish to someone who is doing something irresponsible and illegal?
but quibbling about the costs that could but didnt occur is just a little silly imo.
im not arguing with you over the costs, im arguing the point that you think it is right for him to do it (at least thats what i am getting from your posts) when in fact it is not in any way or form
There are hundreds if not thousands of people in the same situation as him who dont go riding trains

I am not saying the sun shines out of his backside, or even that I completely agree with what he did, but I understand partially the reasons behind what he did.
I was arguing that what he did was wrong :p, i guess we agree there ;)

.
No i am saying if he wants to die in a horrible way, there is ways of doing it without screwing with other people

We agree that what he did was irresponsible, the disagreement is only that I am looking at the reasons behind it and you are looking at the possible repurcussions had something gone wrong.

I'm not trying to twist it so that you are in the wrong here, I just feel that telling him to fo and die elsewhere was harsh.

I am a great believer in living every day as fully as you can, take oppotunities and try to be impulsive, I guess I am slightly irresponsible in my own way but I have always tried to live by the saying "I'd rather live an hour as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm".

This is probably why I saw the reasons behind what he did rather than the consequences of the act.
