i would sincerely like to thank, all the middies who listened to me, and all of those who rezzed me, or saved my ass on countless occassions. we shook the pillars of heaven, killed the keep lord, slew albions and hibernians in there hundreds, and at the end of the day, no one got hurt.

i would also like to thank sincerely, my skilful, tenacious, and downright mean enemies from albion and hibernia, there are simply too many good players amongst you to list you all, to the casters that mezzed and nuked me, to the infiltrators that made me crap my pants, to the tanks that crushed my wee blue body underfoot, i salute you all. hope you all had as much fun as i did.

Mack will be deleted, to make space for a new hero/heroine ( a runemaster or shaman i think)

BUT! dont be sad, you dont have long to wait to face me in the field of battle, my new char is at level 19 already, and rushing to 24 as fast as possible. remember the name, hes coming to a BG near you soon

Yeah... was a lot of fun running into you at BG... my infi has been at about 340+ pts for the last couple of weeks and i really haven't had the heart to cap him :/ but now i'm playing my bg minstrel I'll have to finish his career...

Anyway, look forward to getting your new guy soon, assuming I haven't capped my minstrel, who seems to be amassing rp's at an alarming rate :/

A crit hits a yellow con mid tank for around 80 dmg (if i remember rightly). So how about I mezz ya and we get us 9 rangers... or just the one hib caster.

what the hell kind of bow do you use? short recurve?!

the heartwood great recurve bow (crafted to i think 98%, not sure though) is the current heaviest lvl 24ish bow you can get in hib, is very nice, non crit i hit platewearers for about 89 damage, i'm usually talking around 140 on crit.

spec wise i'm max bow and very high path btw

damn, has it gotten that bad? there were usuall a lot hibs too, but it's worse on prydwen, i usually didnt even kill hibs there, just mezzed them, blew a /kiss then left they were just so rare i didnt want to stop them having fun

I used a cheap merchants great recurve, green con to me at lvl22 bow, shooting orange con troll tanks wearing chain with slash type arrows... Im just impressed that my lil nebanob managed to one shot casters with a bow that pants Although i was max bow too, i think all rangers at thid are max bow.

And no it hasnt gotten that bad, some nights there are 3-4 of us, others there are 25+, i just dont get it?!

ok, update, tonight i shot my first DEFINATE zerker (i know he was because he zerked )

i was hitting for 148 non crit, never critted him though so i'm not sure exactly what that would be, but with max bow it's usually about 200% damage of a normal shot, so i can say with a good degree of faith that it'd be somewhere near 300ish damage.

it takes me about 3.5 seconds to fire btw (displayes as 4 but i've timed it with a watch as faster, since the display numbers get rounded down this seems likely).

so 700hp shoudlnt be too much of a problem

but arrowshot was never specced like that for this, origionally i wasnt even gonna take him to thid, but since i'd never been before i tried it, got hooked and spec a little stealth into the mix (only 10 spec, 12 with items, just enough to get by without gimping myeslf) and stayed a while that while lasted a bit longer because i also made a minstrel (now lvl 25 after leaving thidranki prydwen due to insane alb zerging ruining it) so arrowshot's still there .

the high bow and path spec is purely for solo pve, rangers can solo level stupidly fast on tree mobs with that spec, chain killing orange mobs with no downtime because they never actually reach you through the hail of arrow death is just excellent , just have to spend 10 seconds downtime every 4/5 kills to get back endurance

I think its even more insanely easy to level a bard and the money comes in soo fast its scary. Once I get my bard to a decent level and have enough money ill prob go back to nebanob, get him lvl24 and some decent stuff and properly enjoy being in stealther in thid.

oh and i checked my bow, it's only 97% qual crafted bows are very nice it's yellow con btw, there are no orange con great recueve bows at level 24 in hibby, it's yellow or red, nothing inbetween. would cost a mere 15g from a merchant. crafters could probably make one for 9 or 10 gold, but would charge whatever the hell they like still, a guildy made this one, and another for someone else for free dumping tons of drops into the guild vault does have it's uses
