Why oh why did they design TOA so you can only activate an artifact once and can't trade an activated ones :(

Any whispers of this changing in future patches??

Should be rather obvious, to prevent people from turning in their 5% dur artifact for a new 100% one?

hmm. Well that really put it to bed.... So why would they want to stop you to doing that??
What is it with arties that Mythic thought, "I know, lets make em work their ass off for a month or two to get decent templates together, then make it so after a few months the equipment is salvage and they have to change all their items and do it all over again, Cool!! That will keep the subscriptions Rolling in."

It no maka de sense

so in the end it will become something like all low rr chars have artis and the high rr chars have regular items?
that makes no sense....
the second my artis are unusable and its hell on earth scrapping together a decent template i will quit.

con/dur on artis, quest items and other items u cant get a renewd when they are borke makes no sens .... :twak:

I'm sure by the time you reach RR1010 - there will be more uber items out there to replace them in ToA3 "The Revenge of the PvE 20000 hours killing the same mob to get xp once you get the 10 scrolls off the 7 other mobs that you need 15 fg to get which drops once every blue moon" game.

As long as you don't use the item other than when in RvR - and when obviously you had to level it up in PvE - I imagine it will last the course of the RR1010 journey.....

Some artis are class restricted = no trade
but they do have to start fixing the dur problem.. active players are getting punished in the long term for playing too much.

Somehow the balance between hard core players and casual players seems fair in this case...

Hard core players decays their priceless artis faster and at some time after getting 10 ga-zillion rps they need to re-do their template.

Honest, look at me and see how much I care...

!!!

(Artis shouldn't decay in PvE tho)

If artifacts are so powerful as the stories make them, they shouldn't lose dur at all, imo :)

First most artifact last very long, atleast if only used in PvP... But ofc its annoying that it gets useless at some point...

But if you use Sc and lots of the nasty none arti drops in ToA you could still make pretty nice templates, and anyway there is no doubt that Catacombs will bring even better items/artifacts then toa :)

But tbh i dont care my template is gimp and have 2 artifacts, so when they wear out i still have lots of choices :]

Its to stop people camping every art 24/7 pling them to 10 then selling them for ridiculous prices.
If you could trade artis then no casual player would ever have a chance of getting them as they would be farmed.

Second is to stop you gathering then pling ur artis on ur main and passing them to your toons.

Artis werent spose to be easy, annoying as they are its working as intended in the sence that it has slowed the leveling process, higher util artis = longer to level

but w8, people do that all rdy dont they? besides the lvling them to lvl 10 and selling to ridiculous prices. now they just camp/farm and sell for ridiculous prices.

well i guess they work if they intend to take the joy out of the game i guess :D and yes i know the game isnt all RvR but, it sucks ass that you have to spend to eternety to lvl them before they are worth any thing, and then those stupid lvling rules, with what mobs they lvl on and what time of day. gonna be better when they fix it into just normal zones, SI and toa zones, makes it alot more easy, though still borring like hell

I don't mind it taking time to lvl the artifacts, they're meant to be somewhat unique at least.

What bothers me is the loss in dur, my Traldors is almost down to 75% dur now, granted I've been using it in PvE, too - not that much lately though after I realised that these 'indestructable' artifacts is indeed far from indestructable.....

So givf Catacombs with new good stuff, or let's have a way to fix the dur, please

hehe they prolly insert some kind of magic that makes an item indestructable, and make it more rare than emain with out zergs. so when ever it drops it vil be sold for like 50M :D

Im sure i read somewhere that in a future patch you will be able to fix your artis. i think its in one of the patch notes from the american servers

ye been told that you can kill some of the .10 encounters and get arti dur back, different bosses for different items :O

It was a false patch note, besides, when the powergamers artifacts start to reach 10-15% in durability catacombs will drop...

The fucked ones would be the morons who pve with their toa-outfit, like me for example. But I only play rvr once, maybe twice every week so my items should make it to catacombs/wow.

didnt mythic say they were commited to ensuring that player made items would be the most powerful in game? sod the artifacts.. when are the crafters gonna get the reward they deserve?

There is a game (wich i cant remember the name atm) where artifacts are UNIQUE in the game. Thus 1 superartifact for the whole server. then if a player kill you, you may lose it and the player who kill you get it as a drop. So i think we cant complain tbh.
