Tournament Mode?

OK... WTF?

Dont tell me... ANOTHER bwadmin bug...?

Just attemted to play our ladder match on the booked BW #3 and it wouldnt let me change to tournament mode even though myself and many others had SAD.

This forced us to suffer bad pings AGAIN on a foreign server for our map. Not that we wouldve won but it would make it bearable for several of our guys who only have 56k.

We got a date on a fix or this unrelated?

This is the first time that we have been told of this problem ever appearing on the bookable servers.

Out of interest I booked a server myself this evening and had a look, I joined, left and rejoined several times and every time once i had sad admin, I was able to change the server to tournament mode.

There is no reason that i can think of as to why this would happen, a bug is certainly a possibility, although as i say this is the first time it has been reported however not necessarily the first time it has happened.

Should it happen again, give an admin a shout, not promising that we will be able to sort it but we can try

EMS also had a match tonight on BW4 and we had no problems with setting tourney mode. Other probs but not with that

I reset the server and gave SAD to around 10 ppl - all will confirm the same problem.

Quite annoying.

I think you may have just answered your problem m8. When your on the server there shouldnt be any need to reset it. All you need to do is select tournament mode from the option. Resetting it may have had something to do with it.

No I reset it in the hope it would fix the problem.

We had allready tried to switch to tourney countless times.

/me is not thick.

In that case it remains a mystery, with a bit of luck it was a one off, if not and more ppl experience it we may then be able to identify what the problem is.
