due to the fact that i have been playing really bad i have decided to pinpoint my problem. one thing i discovered from reading on this site is that you can tweak the settings for Counter Strike in console. i have done this i.e changed the rate, and the updaterate and cmdrate. what i need to know is does this automatically save just simply by typing the command into console or do you need to do something else.
the problem that i have is it seems to get really sluggish when ever there is lots of action going on in the game and it is almost unplayable. - i think it is either my soundcard (my sound card is only 8mb and i about 4years old) which is causing this problem or it is simply because the game needed tweaked.
if anybody has any advise i would love to listen.
