Hi there,

This is my first post in this forum and actually the first time I have ever gone into it but this guy I met tonight really p***ed me off bigtime.

Who am I talking about? [Boh]Hiren[DSL]

I was playing on a Barrysworld server and this guy joined and proceeded to threaten to kick me FOR NO REASON. I was even on his team for christs sake. When I asked why I got no answer. Next (Paddy)Ra was threatened as he said "Fuck off" once. I was lmao as Hiren was spamming abuse out at an alarming rate.

We keep on playing and I am beating him to mvp everytime and I could tell this was annoying him.

Anyway we are in a game with score @ 2 - 2 (still on same team) Its a very close game and I have the flag and made it back barely in one peice to our base and what does he do but kicks me. I reconnect anyway and keep playing. He also kicks another player from enemy team, Ka, (no not Ra from earlier ;)), because he kept fragging him. There was no other reason. He is top scorer anyway but I am catching up fast and now this is the biggest laugh of all; there is 15 minutes left to run on map and so he decides to CHANGE THE MAP TIME and finish the game. He then brags about being mvp, I mean come on how sad is that?!!!

What I want to know is how some pathetic individual like this has the rcon password. This guy really got off on this sad bit of power he has been given and it saddens me to know he still out there with it.

Plz do something about him.

Btw if you read this post Hiren, I was playing as Satin's Gardener.

yeah, i have been told about this. The rcon will be changed today. so this should stop him.

He was an admin for about 2days, then i kicked him out, cos of all the problems i had been hearing. The rcon was changed the day he left, i dont know how he could of got it.

Hi there, funnily enough I'm a NAZ boy too :p

I've been on loads of public servers and have seen many people trying to vote out people just for the sake of doing so. The actual name 'Public Server' means just that. It's not the player's server, it's for the public to use. Unless there is something really important going on eg a clan match (and that's more likely to be in a passworded server anyway) then there should be no reason why people can abuse the players with this.

I myself have been kicked from a server just because I was winning. The problem was this guy had the rcon password and an autoscript so that all he had to do was press a button and 8 votes showed up for me to be kicked immediately. People like that should stick to remedial tasks, like knuckle shuffling etc and not things like socialising and fragging new people :cool: .

Nice to see that the guys from Barrysworld have addressed this, but unfortunately it will happen again with other players when they learn the new password.

From one point of view though , this happens on most online games. I accidently shot one of my own guys on TFC and got kicked as I was typing in "sorry", been kicked for buying weapons on Counterstrike etc. It's all down to who's playing at the time. In fairness though, they are not the majority of players, so this is not a major issue. But it's still not on.

well one good thing, vote isnt enabled on all the EF pubs, only the dual servers. Thats only so people can change the map.

We'll just have to keep an eye on the other servers for potential abusers, and unfortunately report them in.

So does this Hiren still have the rcon? I remember posting a few months back about the same problem with him and the legendary Starman coming out with the same Bull$hit ie yeah i have change the rcon etc, yeah I'l sort it etc.........what a load of $hit...........do you get sick of talking the crap you do?

I wonder when people will realise that no matter what is disscused in this forum nothing will even happen because starman wont get off his big fat a$$ to do anything about it.

look, all i can say if i have asked for the rcon to be changed everytime, and i remind the server guys about it. yet is doesnt seem to get done. Belive me i am TRYING, i dont have direct access to the servers, i have to ask if i want any changes.

well dont shuffle in there looking at the floor mumbling "can you change the rcon please"........... STORM in there shouting "CHANGE THE FUCK1NG RECON OR I'LL KICK YOUR ASSES ALL THE WAY BACK TO COMPTON!!!!......BITCHES!!!" ;-)

So if Starman doesn't have the power, why are we talking to the monkey and not the organ grinder ?

LOL, i think if this were a more corporate/business environment (as opposed to a game) and we were seeking support, we'd have been put through to a supervisor by now :) Or maybe the 1st line would be awaiting their P45s :D

Right i have got the pass changed in the server configs. The new pass wont go live until about 5am tomorrow when the servers next get restarted.
