Just wondering, if a single "piece" fails a "hash check", does this mean your download is doomed ?

This is what I've just seen in the Log.

If it fails it will simply disregard that segment of the file and download it from another person.

it's when it doesn't fail and you get the dredded "Corrupted error" on a 3gig RAR you wanna smash the PC up

A hash check is to allow you to verify the file has been downloaded correctly without corruption.
