Does having your torch on make you much more visible ? Just read it makes no difference to stealth. Yet everyone screams turn your bleeping torch off when zerging in RVR.

If it made no difference how would others know you had your torch on? While active it lights up your face making you easier to spot in the dark.

It does make you light up a bit more, but its so little that it hardly makes a difference. Just try with a mate, and stand a bit away from him while he switch it on and off. The difference is so small that you might as well keep it on all the time to get your enemies even more visible.

Go Camlann if you have a bb, make 2 toons, put light on..find out yes it does make a slight difference to the graphical side of viewing the person, but matter of fact is.... you can already see them anyway... light on makes no difference as to range they can be seen from as far as I am aware when I tested it. So yeah keep it on imo if you are moving through ground where it gives you an advantage to see where you are going - if you get spotted it aint ever gonna be because you had your light on - its not like driving a black car at night down a lane.....


I have never seen a big glowing orb 1/2 mile away from me in RvR and thought....ooo teh zerg is inc and some noob has left his lights on to warn me!!
