The xmas special was good, but I'm not hugely excited about the series, it's been on a slippery slope for the past two seasons. They seem to have run out of jokes.

It'll be Tiff.

Fun show, I skipped the star in the reasonably priced car as usual.

The Porsche 911 skit was ostentatious but still quite fun.

Liked the Ariel Atom / BMW S1000RR bit too. Those car/bike comparisons have been Fifth Gear's reserve for the last five years or so, was good to see one done with humour.

What is it about John Bishop? Why is he on TV so much? He's not funny :(

Poor episode really, hopefully we won't see another fucking boring Porsche this series. The amount of coverage they get is a fucking joke, there's NOTHING more to say about them. Fuck off.

Rhod Gilbert is far funnier, would have much rather seen him taking Jeremy on.

To be honest I watched that piece on Sunday and thought it was crass and it bit weird; they went on and on ranting about Mexicans and I couldn't really work out why, it wasn't particularly funny, and had none of the wit they normally show when having a dig at foreigners. There's more to this than meets the eye.

duh, they were trying to be way more offensive than the sky pair that got sacked for mere sexism, flat out racism however is fine!

Maybe they needed a boost in the ratings?

Much better episode that one. I loved that they couldn't get insured on the Ferrari :D

Was it the Ginga's Ferrari? I was expecting him to pop out of the woodwork...

Really? 250GTO is Nick Mason's reg plate afaik.

I could go into nerdy details about the front lights and fastback which I don't think the Evans GTO has but I won't. I have seen his black 250 California which was pretty.

All they said was that Evans had just spent 12million on one, they never said that was his actual car, just that they couldn't get the insurance for Clarkson to drive it on the show

I recognise the route they're driving in Top Gear tonight - drove down the same road on the reverse route in 2008. Mind you they were constructing the road at the same time and it was only one lane wide for much of it...

First time watching top gear?

The humour hasn't changed it's just largely very similar all the time so it gets less funny over time the more you watch.

ofc you do have the option to "change the channel" or press the power button.
