go to ui folder and the ui your using (custom most likely)-find file named *styles*-open with notepad-find and delete line *tool_tip_background* save and restart game...

in mine the line tool_tip_background was at the bottom not sure if it is so for everyone

Umm in that case ALt +F4 might only work in windowed mode, was sure it would of done something though. Did it make you Crash to desktop or do nothing at all..

As bleeker says (as i told him) if you delete tool_tip_background bit from styles.xml by opening it with notepad. And then save, it will definitely work, it can't not work as thats you deleting the background for it :D

make a folder called custom in you ui folder.

then copy/paste the whole toa skin into the custom folder, then delete all things called something with tool_tip (in the custom folder) and safe.

then start daoc and choice custom as UI, this should work.

daoc think you run a custom UI, but you are just using toa skin w/o tool_tip

Ah yea it only works on customs UI's so copy the Atlantis/SI UI's into a folder called custom and change the styles.xml in there as the patching proccess will re-enable it.
