I see where you're coming from Mr Blackshirt, but International law should come into force as far as those are concerned.
The fact that the US government is making up the rules as they go along, and denying them the protection of the Geneva convention (something the US would have demanded if any of their guys had been captured), is due purely to the influence of hawks in the US government.
If they're not POWs, then you'd think they would be criminals, except the US has deemed they are neither, neatly slipping them into a legal limbo. It sets a precedent for other countries to follow, and is nothing short than an attempt to subvert International law.
