ToA items - new opportunities for wild speculation

Image of new inventory items that come with ToA (taken from US current DAoC download - presumably some of this stuff is being downloaded by everyone and not used.....

Observations....

Boats seem to be holdable within your inventory, there are 5 or possibly 6 types.

Glowy jewelry, ToA epic quest rewards maybe?

most of them look like crafting and housing bits not sure about the boats thou
also noticed the lower items have a patten around them so they could be either items your wearing or wearable items

The lemon could be to ward off scurvy. Perhaps it works as a Cure Disease potion!

Also wondering if the 3 items to the right of the boats are land-mounts.

Horse for alb, stag for hib, other thing for mid.

If so the top left item might be a horseshoe.

The thing to the left of the lemon does look like a magnifying glass. The thing to the right, however, looks like a lemon wearing a very fancy belt.

That is quite obviously a potato wearing a electric pulse belt to tone its muscles.

Two steps to the right of the lemon + belt, that has to be a lemon bowl. Top right we see a bundle of lemon peel. Top row column 7 also shows the point at the top of a lemon/citus fruit juicer. Row four, forth column a lemon peeler maybe, and to the immeadiate left of that is what appears to be a lemon in a cage.

Bottom row 3rd column is the holy lemon of atlantis.

We have clearly been misled as to the central themes of ToA.

1st icon, second row - a tool for removing the lemon Mythic will ram up the asses of the Savage class in 1.68.

That could be fun...

Make other players have a random chance of dropping a bundle of hair or something like that on death. This can be used with a voodoo doll, and then you can stab it and mutilate it and hurt the person whose item you used on it if they are in the same zone...

Maybe make Voodoo a 'tradeskill' that you can level up and become more powerful in... so an LGM voodoo master can kill someone by pulling the head off the doll!

Bottom line is just new icons for belt, bracer, gem, necklace and ring

maybe they bringing it in so that you can CRAFT your own jewelry.. bracer / gemsetc etc ans those are some of the icons for them

Very bottom row looks like Jewlery craft, Neckie, ring, belt, bracer and jewels all seem to be there,

1 up from that looks like new trinket incons, except for the red light. Tho could be a trinket items for jewel craft.

1 up from that Looks like something to do with the new boating system. 4th from end to 1 from end look like new wall monts. Last would No idea (tho am just guessing anyway, i wouldn't guess at this 1 )

Top row looks like new housingitems, maybe somewhere to store your horse when at home.

Next row down is a recipe for Albion lemon pie. Secret recipe handed down from generation to generation and is now being revealed to hibs and mids, Protect our PIE, Delete this post

The first 6 icons do indeed look like housing items, but the icons following those look like siege equipment.

Ram Beak
Catapult holdy thing
Harnesses etc...

The rope might even be torsion cable, and the 'magnifying glass' could be a catapult arm.
Maybe the lemon, and the following 'lemon in training' are new ammo types, throwing lemons is going to have an AoE sting.

I suspect anyone who thinks jewelrycraft is going to be delivered in an expansion is going to be disappointed.

Even if they think it will be lemon flavoured.

Mythic have stated jewelrycraft is 'on the back burner'. Which you can read as 'we are doing nothing whatsoever to make it happen'. This is probably a good thing - does it really need to get any easier to cap your stats?

Jewel craft won't see the light of day this side of xmas i'd doubt, But its not unlike mythic to package furture files with current patches to ease the load later on.

Now, there actually IS a body of water in Emain (it's not directly between the two milegates so 90% of players aren't aware it exists ) so if you can persuade a few middie and hibbie friends to bring their boats out there, we'll have to see what can be arranged!
