So how will artifacts work? What does the item level required bit mean?

All artifacts start at lvl1 and need to be exp'd to gain lvls, the maximum lvl is 10. Each lvl the item gains new abilities, hence the lvl required message. Some artifacts are exp'd in RvR, some in PvE. They all gain exp in very specific ways, for example, some artifacts will only gain exp at night, others will only gain exp by killing female player enemies.

Now thas gonna make a few changes Getting the drop on another group will be less essential, better survivability for CC/healing classes etc. It's gonna make the other artifact that makes the enemies class/name appear above their head very useful and essential for the MA
