To Thidranki healers

Why do you even bother paying the 10s for the trip, over 1/2 of the healers that are in BG1 are usless RP Leechers. There are some good healers that actually DO there job (Rezzing, Healing and Mezzing) and then there are the others that, when asked for a rezz just say that they dont rez campers or another lame excuse, so I ask myself, whats the point?!

If your not going to do your job, dont go make it fair on the rest of us by not having to spam u with /tells asking for a rez when we could release and be back in time for the next port

Since when has been the 'job' of any Healer to res anyone not in his group ?

Before you flame, try playing a Healer in Thidranki. After the 28th consecutive res/regen mana cycle just so the "non-leechers" can go farm their RPs it gets really, really depressing.

After about 20mins on my first ever visit to Thidranki with my Healer I made a personal policy. I don't res outside of my group unless its an exceptional circumstance. Really annoys me when the soloing SB who is not grouped, not in a cg, out stalking his prey msgs me for the Nth time asking for a res. Sod off! If you want to use my power, share your RP.

If you want a guaranteed, no-hassle, 100% friendly, no msg required res, take a Healer with you.

Surely healers, just like anyone else, goes to the battlegrounds to have fun. Trust me, there is very little fun in running from one place to another, casting a spell, sitting down for 3 minutes, then repeating.

You don't find it fun lying on the floor, and they don't find it fun getting spammed endlessly for res requests. If you don't like the way someone else plays, thats your problem, not theirs.

That is possibly the stupidest thing I have read in a long time. No one is making you spam them for resses, in fact, if you spam them, you're more likely to get refused. Oh, that, and the fact that no-one likes people with attitude problems.

It is not my job to run around ressing people. It's my job to sit in an office 9-5. I play the game for fun, as does everyone else, so please respect that, and quit your whining.

If you (and by saying you, I mean the whole realm) treated your healers/shamen with a bit more respect, you might find that they go out of their way to help you. If you treat them with no respect, they are more likely to ignore you when you die.

Iv played healers before, but you dont just leave realm mates to lye there when your a click away from rezzing them (as most of the healers were today).

IMO thats not the best way to go about keeping your realm strong, it just causes grief between people, and tell me...is it hard to res sum1? yah if they are a trek away, you might also be in danger of dieing urself, but if u say to your group that a realm mate needs rezzing (This is small) they will prolly join you

Also, i do respect healers because iv made a few and enjoyed playing them, but you could just reply to the message sent telling the person(s) if you can or cant res them

Some guys dont respect healers at all.

A few days ago in emain my group encountered a group of hibs at mmg. We started fighting and I ended up dying. Then a person comes along (not mentioning any names) kills the remaining hibs and then spam laughs at me.

I ask him why and he said cus u dont res me ever! - I res everyone ffs or i used to but not anymore. You can go and kiss my ass and release.

Thing is mate if ur in a group ur main priority is ur group.. mezzin is the main, healin, buffin and rezzin if needs be... okie if u see a dead realm mate then rezz him if ur not under attack because its polite too

There are good and bad healers, like there there are good and bad tanks... just because a few are inpolite or do it because they dont want to, doesnt make them all tossers.. but saying that our job isnt primary to rezz ppl.. its just somethin we can do in the given situation they are in

As garnet says there are alot of ppl who dont seem to respect healers for some reason or the other, i've always helped as many ppl out as i could even ppl i didnt like, just because i'm like that

I knew there was a reason why this realm sucked for me. This is almost as bad as getting abuse for not rezzing someone who is AFK. Who's in a group with their own healer....

Reasons for not rezzing.
Dead guy in a spot dangerous for the healer.
No power.
Busy healing someone in his group.

Reasons for not responding.
Busy healing someone in his group.
Can't pick out the individual request among the 1000s of other requests for PoMs, buffs, heals, cures and rezzes.
Busy running away from a zerg.
Busy mezzing, stunning and farming their own RPs.
Frankly don't want to because the requestor is some abusive asshole that wants pandering to every 5 minutes and has screamed obscenities in group, friend and main.

The battleground is hectic and looking after the 20 or so solo SBs takes time and effort. Make it easy on your healer, give your exact location, enemy position, if stealthers are around and have a bit of patience.

loveless mate, the single simple reason why you did not get a rezz last night is because you were camping alb tk.

some of the healers such as Rok, lifesupport and others have started an informal, i aint gonna rezz you if you are at alb tk, and i fully support this view, even tho i have died while scouting the tk for the army, and had to release.

you are one of those guys who sits in front of tk, shoots a rune bolt, sometimes gets a kill, alot of times gets owned by the albion infiltrators to who you are free and easy rps.

its pretty simple, dont come on here and flame the healers, when the fault lies at your own door, if you had an iota of imagination beyond camping the albion tk, you might get a rezz.

and before you come back with a lame ass reply, i have seen you there, with my own eyes, while sending messages back to my chat group along the lines of

/c well there are about 2 fg of albs at the tk, but they wont be coming out yet, because we have a few camping geniuses playing pot shots.

My first msg in here, wish me good luck and welcome! It is sad that my first post has to be a harsh commentary to Loveless' post earlier on. I believe i was one of the shamans in there last night - Halsbrann, supervising your every move - Loveless.

And i must say you cant play a runie for squat. I ressed you some times, cured your poision quite some times and did some on and off healing on you. You were the most demanding damn peep in there last night. If i hadnt had PoM from dear old Apo, you wouldnt get any of that shit. *mumbles something bout clothwearing kobbies running postal back and forth to test their range on bolts* To them starving stealthed foxes out there you are just a fat juicy hen already plucked. How many times you get oneshotted last nite? :-P Btw, you got ressed more times yesterday than any other peep in Thid. Least from my side.

What surprises me is that you even dare to write a post in here bout it, unleashing nasty comments to the healing forces of midgard - letting us slam you, your skills and class all at once. muahahahaa.

Btw - Reelbigtroll was a much nicer character, what happened to him? Guess the new attitude comes with the cloth then :-P Just as small dogs bark more than the big ones.

And better yet - RP leechers?? Where you come up with this? Who wants to leech RP in BG? In two weeks now i have gotten both Feige and Halsbrann capped - 350+. It really reeks of arse. I wanted to stay as long as i wanted. The RP you get in BG you will get in five minutes in Emain later, darnit.

indeed not, perhaps now with the word from me as a neutral observer and more emphatically one of the healers involved you might be able to work out that ..........

sitting on the tk getting 1 shotted repeatedly by the albion infiltrators and then spamming and expecting as a god given right that our healers should come and rezz you, so you can play pot shots at the tk again and get 1 shotted again is...

a) not something to make a post about
b) not good play to begin with
c) not going to win you any friends amongst our already over worked healer corps

be polite to healers and shaman at all times, they are under no obligation to rezz you, especially not people who repeatedly get themselves killed in the same spot by the same lack of tactics or forethought.

anyway, i really do think this thread has run its reasonable course, any 1 got any news on the planned thidranki event???

you will be sent a requisition form for making a formal complaint to the union, fill in this form and apply to your nearest bar-keeper for a copy of the healer union rules and regualtion on healing, and a copy of the B68, G9 and CU8 forms which need to be posted 2 weeks in advance of your formal complaint, when you have sent your complaint we will process it in the due manner and send you your BK96 form for dealing with specific refusal of ressing purposes once filled in plz submit to your nearest healer who will deliver it at due time to the gothi of eir after a 5 month evaluation of your case you will be called before the council of eir (council hall currently under construction) to submit your case. during which time you will be offered a complimentory beer mat and some salty peanuts as well as your choice of movie

Healing 101

Own group comes first every time, no ifs no buts, then it's the hardest hitters, rezzes, if/when it's safe to do it,

RvR or PvE still same basic ideas, move in and rezz when you got a tidy group and have protection from mobs or other realms, i know it's only an 8 second spell, but it's the running round and downtime, remember most 20 ish healers got a POM, or POT if they lucky, It takes me long enough with Purity Of Meditation from a nice healer if i've just rezzed a lvl 50,


PS all healers/shamans reserve right to refuse rezz to idiots, peons, or otherwise silly ppl

Its not the time i died at albion im talking about, I got rezzed by sum one then n e how.

It happened like 3 times today. Id be dead and a lone healer would be wondering around doing nothing but buffin himself, and id ask for a rez directly infront of him then hed just run off

The should have NPC healers in thid like on uo :>

we already have NPC healers, their called buff-bots there are about 5-6 standing around the entrance of most TK's and i can't stand them, they put honest healers (and myself) out of a job. what can i offer that a buff-bot can't besides stimulating social interaction? oddly some groups think thats unnecessery

i've only ever said no to rezzes for one of a couple of reasons:

a) it's totally unrealistic to get there in time, or goin solo, ie i'm soloing in crab room, and someone wants rezz in trow room, or deeper down,

b) the person has been really aggravating/problematic in the past and can't even manage simple courtesy.

and to be fair to healers, I know more than 1 who've put them selves in tough spots, to rezz, when if the dead person had shown seom sense, it wouldn't have meant risking you mates.
