Please go read some goa news a few weeks past. What you are doin is considered BUG ABUSE. Yes its bug abuse to port into enemy keeps. I've personally seen 2 necros doin this in 2 different keeps. Pics and report at goa and they said its abuse. So stop it now.

Makes no difference where the servant is; if a necro uses an enemy gatekeeper to get into a keep GOA say it's bug abuse.

If a necro puts pet on 'stay' and walks into a keep through the broken doors they can do what the hell they like in there because they used legitimate means to enter the keep.

I've seen necro's porting into a keep despite of 20+ albs yelling "don't do it, its bug abuse"....

some people.

Screenshots, excact time of the bug abuse, server, RightNow.

Only way to deal with this.

If you do al that, and the necro IS in fact doing something ilegal, action will be taken as seen fit for the case

Every tread i see from you is about some player made this or some player made that..

Do you wanna make us to feel pity/sry for you so that we spare your pore soul when you hide in a Zerg or what ever?

It isn't a bug nor can't you abuse it , because a necro still can't cast ( if he's cleevr he'll park his pet outside ) and if he does that he can't cast any spells to attack targets in the keep , so it doesn't matter

It doesn't matter that he can walk freely around a keep, report how many trebs are up, how many peeps in lord room, how many defenders in total, etc?

It does matter.

Hi, Einstein.

He might not be able to cast, but he sure as hell can fix his fellow albs some nice and juicy ground targets, that along with keeping track of mid force situations, actions and the like. And he does this with tools not given to his class (i.e. stealth and climb walls).

But, don't trust me. You might want to trust GoA, who will ban your arse if you get reported using this bug:

From friday news, the 20th of June: http://camelot-europe.goa.com/news/newsarticle.php3?id_article=1092

First, here is a reminder of what is a bug exploit. If someone voluntarily uses a bug or design flaw in order to gain any personal advantage, this player is "bug exploiting". According to the Code of Conduct, to which all players agree every time they enter the game, you have to report all bugs you find and not use them under any circumstances for personal gain. Any player guilty of bug exploiting can have his/her account permanently terminated.
This said, a new bug exploit has been reported lately, this one involving the Necromancers while in shade form. This bug allows them to get into enemy keeps using while the gates are still closed. Since they are in shade form, they cannot be harmed in anyway and can spy and give information to their realm mates in all impunity. This is not a "feature" and is considered a bug exploit. Therefore, do not hesitate to inform your fellow realm mates about it and warn them that doing so can lead to permanent ban of their account.

Thus spake GoA.

Now take screenshots and report those pinheads! :)

The main concern is the setting of ground targets inside the keep; say the keep is heavily defended and all of the climb points are covered with PBAOE or GTAOE then it's practically impossible for a minstrel or infiltrator to climb in and set a GT whereas a necro can simply park pet, port in and set GTs with impunity. That was a tactic we used about a month ago during Midgard's prolonged stay at Renaris and it basically swung the battle in Albion's favour because wherever the Mids inside the keep moved, they were being peppered with Wizard GTAOE, Volley and catapult fire. We didn't know that it was bug abuse at the time but enough people must've asked about it because a couple of days later GOA categorically stated that it's bug abuse in the news post shown above.

So to cut a long story short; it does matter because it alters the course of a siege and it is bug abuse.

But before Mids and Hibs go spamming Rightnow with screenshots of Necros setting GTs on the battlements or in the Lord room, please make sure that the bug has actually been abused, i.e. the gates are still closed, because once they're open the necro can do what they like in there.

Well my last whine thread was about minstrels this thread i made to inform thoose necros still porting into keeps that dont see it as bug abuse. Perhaps you have a necro that has been reported? I dont know, but i know i detest bug abusers and report them onsight. But if you like people to cheat and use bugs then you can do so, but if i see you i'll report your sorry ass.

And go on keep on whining about whine. :p

you mean enough mids winned,

as soon as the doors are down Nercos can do the same thing and FA enemy can do about, anyway has Mythic themselves called it a bug abuse or just GOA who can't to anything about it themselves. A necro doing this bug doesn't gain any advatage over enemy plays as long as they are not group, and won't gain any RP from any fire that comes in.

We had to put up with troll parking themselves over the gatekeeper before the enter/exit commands were added.

Necros in shade forms are Shades, they should be able to pass through solid objects anyway.

doesn't matter wtf mythic have said about it. you play on GOA's servers, meaning you play by GOA's rules, GOA have said it's bad, mmmk?

My point is that mythic may not see it as a bug, may not deside to fix it. There were already moans from hibs about necros walking into relic keeps (with all doors down) picking up the relic and walking out. Now if this had happened on a GOA server first and people started complaining GOA could have thought that Nercos carrying/picking up a relic in shade form was a bug and decide to ban it, only for the same thing to hapen on a mythic server and them to say its a valid tactic.

I'm not saying that i think Necro keep porting it ok, i've PM necros i've seen doing it and asked them to stop. I just don't think GOA shouldn't start second guessing mythics bug fixes. I know there GOAs server, but they are just the hosts.

When the '/s enter exit' was added to combat people standing on the gate keeper players were told to keep doing gate keeper smothering as a valid tactic until the patch was added. It still is used to catch out people that don't have a macro for enter exit. But now imaging that GOA desided to ban the tactic after hearing about the fix?

Thing is though, if GOA don't stamp it out, where will it stop? It's feasible for a necro to park servant outside a relic keep, port through one of the outer gates, port into the tower, pocket a relic and get away scot free without any of the 4 relic doors being scratched.

That's an extreme case and I'm not even sure if it's possible though, but with necros currently able to use enemy gatekeepers it might well be.

This of course is not possible.. for by time the necro is at the tower doors he will fall out of shade form as he way to far away from his pet... the only possible way is that they get relic force through first 2 doors then port into tower then it is possible to get relic and walk out.

I was a necro that ported into keeps.. i was main GT provider in that big renaris fight while back before the announcement. If they at GOA say it a bug then let them.. i wont do it thou mythic never said it bug so <shrug> .. Typical French company, wont stand up to anything.. must learn it from that government of theirs.

Really not possible?

Even if the necro parks pet outside the keep, parallel with the inner gate, bearing in mind that the necro falls out of shade form when he gets further than bolt range (1,875 units I think) away from the servant?

Necros porting into an enemy keep is a bug that was introduced in a fix to necros being damaged in shade form, one of those unintentional design flaws.

Necro pets i think drop at 1500 range :p

Cybwyn, if a necro enters a keep and uses what GOA call a bug to steal a relic they'll most definitely reset it to the original owner. GOA are decent about some things :p

Think it has to do with "fair"gameplay (and the 6 million whining mids ofc) and nothing about them beeing french or the french government. Besides, not like england/holland/italy got that great of a government.

Well go and play on the Mythic servers, Goa is running our servers and thus tells us what is a bug and not.
