How come people defend cheaters if they're from the same realm? If someone is caught cheating, they ruining the game for "everyone", we should pretty much stick together about this stuff and boot them tbh.

I ask these questions because the screen shot do not show any of the above, if, as the screen shots show they olny fought guards who entered into melee with them and still hit the door then this was NOT an exploit, just curiosity that they could walk through the door.

Consider the questions above carefully, and if the answer is no to each one then they did not exploit anything.

I know them being in the court yard when the door isnt down is cause for alarm or even anger but your screen shots do not show them taking advantage of that fact.

If however you can answer yes to any of the above questions then they were exploiting and then I agree that they should be banned.

i think it was this cheat that was used by the mids (and yes it has been reported to rightnow- so they know about it)

[edited out because its amazing how good search engines are these days ;)]

i wont name the cheat so it becomes easy to find on the net, i just hope goa will ban all cheating persons - so we can have fair play.

Looks like he has a small shield on one of the screenies to me, but they are pretty dark, so cant see for sure.

And albs, stop crying about it, you were pretty fast to bugabuse necros when you could. If it was a bug, big deal, I have plenty of screenies from BG with albs in the bridge, trying to get into it, does it matter? Not really. If they however used some program or to do it, ban em.

Also, isnt your accountinfo supposed to be personal?

It's not 'Albs crying about it'. It's people wanting to play the game free of cheaters, hackers and abusers. It doesn't matter that it was some mids doing it, or that it was an alb who spotted it. Cheaters are scum.

Bringing up the old necro arguments again? GOA made it quite clear what was bug abuse and what wasn't. They suspended/banned many accounts of people who did abuse bugs or cheat. It doesn't matter if it was a bug, or external program was used to do this kind of thing, it's cheating.

So you are telling me, that those people that tried the bug in the BG-bridge, should all get banned, because its cheating? I find it a bit harsh.

Edit: Depends ofc, imo, on if they knew about this bug (or whatever it is) before or if they just found it.

MAtters nothing which race is the BD. Pretty obvious you can see Mids in an Alb-keep. Race and class is unimportant, name & shame.

?? I think I've seen quite a few Hibs complain about it, as well as a few Mids who agree. This is not about the realm, it's about the game. Alb, Hib or Mid: Cheating = illegal.

Happen to be Mids who are on this screenshot. Necro's have been told what was cheating and what was not. People have been banned for it too. This is no different.

those that were abusing it got warned/suspended/banned...

it's pretty easy to see where someone does something by accident and where they were abusing it :)

I saw some people trying to get into it. Noone from the other realms close (except me, was stealthed, and could ofc be other stealthers there). It harmed noone, but they jumped into it on purpose. Should they be banned?

Anyways, what I am trying to get to is, let GOA decide if it was cheating, abusing, or whatever. Cause what you me or Pin thinks wont matter at all, if they get banned, it was prolly for a good reason, if not, maybe it wasnt so bad what they did.

imo, the community deserves to know who is cheating and who is not so they can avoid these players until it is sorted, i am 100% sure if it was a peson in VGN on those screens they'd be gone from guild already.

Or did you just see them on the inside?

If you just saw them on the inside, there could also be a non-cheating way to account for the mids inside the keep.... Yes its horible, but they could have 'logged inside' when it was last taken....

Oohwell, if you did see them walk through the door, ban their sorry arses ;)

I am in no way defending cheaters - but:

They could've gotten through by accident ( he did say Bug?? =) ).
It could very well have been, and they were baffled by suddenly being inside the keep - and probably attacked those archers that shot arrows into them ( as can be seen from quite a few screens ).

My question is ( like a few others ):

Did they (try to) walk out again, or did they not attempt that at all? Maybe it was one-way bug only? ( And no - they couldn't just log, since they were getting arrows into them ).

What they could've done is run up one level and jump across the wall - but maybe they didn't think about that - and decided to stand still in the courtyard until the second door was down?

The screens clearly show them on the inside of an alb keep - true, but I find it doubtful that so many made it inside unless it was an in-game bug - it's not like those three have much of a chance to take the keep by themselves. Archers can be killed from the outside (almost) just as easily too.

I'm not defending whatever bug that got them inside, nor their actions whatsoever - just think "what would YOU do if this was an in-game bug that happened to you?".

I want cheaters out of this game asap, no matter what realm they belong to; but I don't want 'innocents' burned at the stake either. ( not for me to decide wether these 3 were innocent or not - that's up to Goa )

these cheating "middies" are about as midgarian as the alb mincer+infil haxxors, so unless you accept all the "typical alb whines" stfu about "mid cheaters" etc, its the players that cheat, notthe realm.

there is a cheat out there that let you go thru any gate/door, if i was asked if i was cheating i would prob also say Bug ?? and play stupid to avoid being banned or remove suspision from myself.
