To the albs last night

Nice to see how several fg albs started attacking Breifine keeps. And to the albs defending Scathaig: good job ( : Hib attackers at Scathaig started out as 2fg with lvl 20-50 people in it, was a fulltime job ressing the lowbies after Exinfer's DoT spams Great seeing our nightshades trying to keep the archers and mages busy while we desperately kept ressing our fallen ones Couldn't even make it to the doors at that stage.

Meanwhile other Hib groups in CBH alliance were defending Bolg from other albs, and some were defending Dagda. There were all sorts of speculations of Albs' plans for a relic raid, which was fun (and I needed some fun after some serious talking that night).

While most CBH alliance peeps were trying to secure Breifine from more incoming Albs, I contacted CF alliance who were happy to join in the fun, and as the rest of Breifine was cleansed, more and more fgs hibs came to Scathaig in a final battle in which we -I must admit- beat the remaning Albs by our numbers, but allowed many of our lvl 20-40 peeps to get in on some RvR action ( :

Do it some more, please ( : Hibs were running all over our frontier, /as was spammed with people keeping eachother updated on the whereabouts of Albs, etc... now THAT is how RvR should be ( :

was a lot of fun last night, I take my hat off to the albs for giving us a good fight. It was a very nice change to the usual emain stuff

My group ran into the first wave of Hibs near Bolg after wiping out the ones at the keep.

Group with three sorcerers = fun.

Didn't do too bad but more and more and more just kept coming. Urgh. Still, it gave me a chance to use my shiny new RA DoT a few times. Woohoo! First use was to clear the AMG. Scatter, little piggies, SCATTER!

Truth be told, RvR is always fun for me for some reason. :/ Zerg or no zerg, I just like running around. The new debuffs have given me a taste of instas...I want insta mezz NOW!

Was good fun at bolg. GoL was losing to 2-3fg hibs when we arrived on the flank, took down 4-6 ppl personally, remaining hibs retreated to Bolg.

We agreed the dead would arrive soon with more reinforcements and decided to move. Sadly we made the big mistake of moving towards the gorge, which in hindsight was rather silly.

Ran into 1 fg hibs, attacked uphill into their flank, was quite an even battle, I was semi-hidden on the hibs right flank.
Target an elfie looking magicspewing thing - dead in 2 nukes (?must have critted?).
Some tank charges me, Lukas slams him - 3-5 swift nukes - dead.
Target a bard-looking celt, 4 nukes - dead.

More hibs arrive, both on the hill with the original hibs, but also from our own right flank.
Suddenly the even fight was turned and we got overrun by 3 fresh FG hibs from Gorge.
Somehow, by miracle, I was the last of our group to die

Was one of the best fights I was ever in.

Ehe, my 45 shammie hits for 102 per tick without crit and with second best baseline single dot. Cabalists hit harder than that. Them avalonians got 80 base int as opposed to any midgard race that starts with 60 piety.

yea last night was fun, i logged in a bit l8 to get into the g.uild group so i had to run solo to da behnn (which was under alb attack at the time) to join the fight. We were sure that some hibs would press the panic button and call for a relic defense and turth be told if u hadnt we would have probably called in the cavalry and made you pay for it. The defense started well, the first few wave's of attackers were held of nicely and i thought u were gonna bugger off and go take behnn and w8 for us to leave. I remember i was resting in the courtyard when the zerg arrived, after that the walls were a "no go zone" i think i looked over once and was stunned/nuked/shot for a combined 2000 dmg in about 2 nano seconds (was very impressed) we were kinda hoping that our calls for reinforcements would have been responded too (i think some did turn up towards the end, was kinda busy at the time ) but once you guys were on that inner door we kinda knew we didnt have much hope, there was a last ditch attempt to stop you at lord, but we were 2 few and you were to many.....still was alot of fun, hope to do it again

Actually there were some in cg who said we should take Da Behnn back because Scathaig was defended so well... I wouldn't hear of it, and thankfully nor would most others. Finally Albs doing the kind of RvR we've been asking em to do, and then cower back to take an undefended keep? That would have been silly.

Besides, we didn't want to allow them albs at Scathaig to get some reinforcements near our relic while we would be taking an undefended Da Behn, so laying siege on Scathaig was the obvious choice ( ;

Was good fun, been trying to get albs in emain jsut to get together and zerg scaithaig for ages, but they never seem to want to =/ gawd knows why =), hibs and mids take renaris all the time, and farm albs, nice to do the same imo =), was great fun, dont make the doors too high and well come back =p

Was good fun when you eventually showed up, we got a bit worried you would just lock down Dagda or AMG all night

Just a damned shame on of ours lagged into Dagda and had relic guards wipe a FG that couldn't pass AMG later on, they never really made it back in time either.

But good fighting until you got too overpowering, lets hope for more activities around Dagda shall we? And give us more Matter Cabbies already.

Crit Dot= based on Wild Arcana...

and that 120 dmg / tick is my base

2 guys i hit 88 dmg / tick those r Rulke and Miss

BUT i luv those Crit's usually its +80 dmg (max crit is +120)

and it counts it separately, so if i aoe dot f.ex 5 enemy, each r counted by crit hit, based on Wild Arcana lvl, 1 lvl = +5% change..


and Novamir, it hurts =)

dot crits are fun -they are caped at 100% value not 50% as all dd
and even if enemy resists ur dot and u crit -he will get all crit ticks-kinda bugged

I think 287 Int is max (unless you spend more points when creating your char and get RAs)... Guess you could hit 300.

Made a nice discovery btw... It doesn't matter much whether you have e.g. Wind magic at 47 or 47+12, bit INT gives you about 1 points etxra dmg per point (when nuking).

Hehe well glad you hibs had fun .... but the plan was ALBS should have had fun

we lost 10-12 ppl to a guy who ran into the relic guards (something with his kid doing something at home)

those 10-12 ppl never made it back to make a difference in the keep defence..

to bad for us ..

1 thing i wonder though .. we was 5 groups who head out for dun scraith (startet as 2-3 groups but the hib zerg at amg stopped us so long that we was 5 when we headed out)

it seemed to me there was no relic alarm at all... if 5 groups is reportet at renesairs there would be a shit load of albs in Excalibur in a sec.

ppl was allrdy talking that we should stay put and wait for the nigth inthere to try for the relic later

BTW: I found a new Ram masta... White a clr from EQ. ... that guy is insane .. he can carry 2 rams with wood ON HIM SELF ... i have never seen rams go up that fast ..

we didnt want to bother pulling guards at dun scraigth so we just charged.. i was the first on the keep platform and between 5-10 sec after i entered the platform i tiled the camera to see how we was doing and there was a ram ALLRDY on the gate .. im not sure we had killed a singel guard yet..

Lol, u must admit there were was a nice hib carpet on your arrival tho already, btw we had - clerics

Also another point to note, MMG wasn't really camped at all, infact it was quite funny roaming around emain bumping into loads of other FGs roaming

and from now on I would love to see Albs taking keeps or arranging drop hunts...anything constructive other than camping MMG, and making use of their time (in a DAOC sense- haha).

Ya was a bit sad when I asked someone to help defend Dagda and he said "wildfire says nothing's planned"... still they showed up, knowing Albs have the numbers to pull off a relic raid if we let em roam about.

You'd be surprised how often I've been there with 3-5 fg wondering how many hours it takes for Albs to come and fight us. Most often, they don't come at all and Renaris stays in Hib hands until the next evening.

The typical response I was giving was along the lines of "not that I know of...". I've known a couple of raid attempts to spring up without knowing though so I wouldn't take what I say as gospel Plus you shouldnt be listening to anything I tell you, I could just be a spy
