Happens every day, in every battleground and has been like it for a long long time. If its a CoC violation I cant see it being allowed for so long.

Its extremely easy to do for something that is breaking the CoC. Like to know which part of the CoC exactly its breaking. It doesnt stop them taking damage or make them immune to attack, Stealthers can get up there behind them, they can be nuked, have pets set on them and if my hunter sees someone up there they can expect a few arrows somewhere painful. Dont see the problem to be honest.

And like Tallen said, lighten up ffs. Did you really have to post on FH and report some people because you got wtfpwned by someone on a pillar in a battleground.

Its hardly fair to have to jump up a pillar for five mins whilst you're getting nuked. And that's not even mentioning the sorcerer INSIDE mb.

I'm fairly easy going but I just got pissed off being killed by exploiters.

Hate to say this , but I agree with what everyone else is saying. I take it you are Philsb? Mate , have all the resepc for you and your team of Mids that have given and taken so much in BG3 over the last few days. :worthy:

I think you were trying to get me a few times while I was up on the pillar, but I say you coming at attacked you. My stealth is crap and you would have seen me a mile away. I'll give you a tip, try jumping sideways up the pillar, you seem to get up quicker.

There have been plenty on times when you guys have had us on the run, just as we have had you on the run. I personally have been instumental in trying to keep albion guys from camping MTK and let you guys out to have a fair fight.

Since I've been in BG3 , the CK has been changing hands very regualrly. You , I know have been scaling the walls and have killed me a couple of times, as well as killing group mates while Ive been stood there. That, imo, is a testament to your skill and patience. I even saw you and anther SB take out the BB that had us buffed and *nearly* managed to escape the CK intact.

Please, this is not a bug exploit as the scouts up there are just as targetable as any other, more so really as they have to jump off and take damage once attacked/nuked/nearsighted ect. I know that it is iritating, just as it is when people nuke from behind the banner on the wall above the CK door. Noone can target the person behind it and they can use /assist to target attackers from behind it. It was use quite extensively iirc during this week by Mids defending the keep.

You have been a great sport and I congratulate all you BG3 mids for providing fun, for both of us. Lets not allow this to spoil the fun that I know we enjoy.

All I can say about people standing on the end of the bridges is that I've seen people get temp. banned for it. So "why" i ask, if it's allowed?

I really arent bothered anyway, as its been a good laugh over the last few days. I have two more alts I need to cap yet so I'll still be buzzing about there in one form or another.

Okay so forget I mentioned it. My main gripe was at a sorcerer that was persistently sitting INSIDE mb with pet on aggro who'd only pop out to nuke/dot when the pet came rushing out of the inside of the bridge. There's not even a grey area in that one imo. :-/

Hehe yeh did that a few times. Only made it out once. Another time there were 3 SBs in my grp. We did the BB, a mincer, and then some poor avalonian that happened to port inside before we got totally pincushioned.


And Franke.. You only get me once or twice in a big group matey. Why not weigh that up against the times I took out two or three of you solo huh?

Respect to you then Phil. It's good to see you don't hold any grudge on this matter. IMO if Mythic wanted to stop people using that pillar as a vantage point, and lets face it, it is a great vantage point for any Scout, Ranger or Hunter both in attack and defence of the keep, then they would square the edges off and make it impossible to climb up. That would stop all the arguements once and for all. Im no programmer but I'm pretty sure its within Mythics realm of capabilities to fix it.

I cannot comment about the Sorcerer who was inside the MB. I did know that there was a Theurgist in my group that got stuck in the bridge when you mids attacked us once. But don't worry about him, he jumps off the top tower of CK whilst casting, so I cannot vouch for his sanity

BTW, whats the name of your other characters that you will be bringing to BG3? Only want to know so we can wave to each other before we kill each other

the Pillers are great vantage point for scouts. .. & ouch the 2 trolls & norse that ran up & Nuked the piller tops first was very funny made me run for my life. glade to hit the other piller first.

My other chars all share a similar sort of name to be honest. I'm a figure in the guild so I made all my toons have "phil" in there somewhere if I can.

You'll see Miniphil and Phlyingphil around hopefully, though they aren't quite so easy to cap as a stealther

As for that Sorcerer that's continually sits in the bridge. Cheeky git has killed me so many times and I've only managed to get in MB once and kill him back. I even contacted his GM (okay it bugs me sorry) and asked him to get him to stop doing it....

Yep, that was me as well as a couple of other stealthers on the pillars when you set that Treb off. Nearly cacked my pants. Expertly placed there by the side of the river. I did circle around the river to try and get you picked off while you were loading the Treb again, but my team mate Sonne got to you first.

As for this Sorcerer, I can't say that I have seen them before in BG3 (and I have spent a lot of time in there). However, looking at the screenshot, if the person is nuking and killing players while in a totally unatainable place, then yes, I agree that is unfair and should be reported so that Mythic can do what we pay them to do and uphold the CoC every now an d then.. If they are there by genuine accident (and I'm sure we have all been stuck in the scenery at one time or another), then it should not be exploited. But from Mid's point of view in this case, it would be hard, if not impossible, to tell if this is a bug exploit or a genuine acciden on first encountering. But if the person is there time and time again, then I totally agree in reporting them. This game is filled on all 3 sides with genuine players who are here for the fun and not interested in the wtfpwn4tehw1n!!1!!1!!!

In the interest of pure sportsmanship, I'll see what I can do to talk to this alb player and try and convice them that if they continue to abuse a bug, then they are not just letting themselves down and possible getting a ban, but tar and feathering the name of all the genuine Alb players who want to have fun rather than, well, take the piss. I am sure that this sentiment is shared with both Hib and Mid players too.

Look forward to killing, er, seeing you on the BG3 battlefield and eventually in Emain/Hadrains Wall/DF/Odins.

Was a cabalist doing the same thing the other night named Puclya,keep on doing it for ages couldnt target the damn thing and aoe attacks (thane) wouldnt hit him inside the bridge,i got some ss's of him summoning pets up thro bridge to attack me.Yea may have been just a green pet but the 2 infils camping there 2 where sure making the most of it with ppl distracted by cabapet.The sad fool even /laughed at me which i find pretty fecking sad needless to say that just pissed me off in the end so the ss's got sent to rightnow.Some ppl make me uke:

As for the Sorc... yeah, if someone hides in a Bridge then by all means report them, but not on the pillars.

Sorry if my remark came across badly. It wasn't ment that way at all. Just that it was some of the greatest fun I ever had in BG (and I started playing oct 2001 pre-BG, and I seen alot of BG groups) The the Albs were for once playing togheter very well. Should be like that in Real RvR.

if u can get up on something with NORMAL jump, its perfectly legal... and the stone pillars at the end of those bridges isnt illegal to stand on..
