GP means mez pretty much has little to no effect against hibernian groups.

we have to fight you all at the same time, while also being vulnerable to aoe mez with only self purge.

Its a boring subject tbh, gp IS NOT that uber... ppl try to understand that it DOES NOT make a group invul to mezz or whatever u think it does, u can use it once each 30 mins and most times u will purge mezz on 3-4ppl not ur fg, then others might get mezzed on a 2nd AEmezz wave and/or AErooted etc... J00 ALBS ARE SO FECKING BRAINLESS.

No Lofff we use GP and are imune the next 29mins or is 60secs?? Or is it not at all, and 2nd mezz land or you get rooted, stunned - and we go hide the next 29mins??

some things that need repeating so that all may understand:

-GP is on 30 min timer (alb zerg comes on a 10min timer or less, and we have to fight mids too in that time)
-there are some other things that make you think we always use GP: our bards/mentas can be verry attentive in a fight and can use cure mezz, almost always alb tanks break mezz on hib tanks who then go for casters, individual purge, high determination..

bottom line is Outlaw got pwned last night and is now in a grumpy mood (i just love his whines/flames)

If albs are the same as mids the main problem is that most of them dont have purge themselves, they've gone for the other RAs..

Hibs just tend to run around in more 'skilled' groups. Unlike albs who just roam for the pleasure of zerging =)

And yes GP is sometimes nasty, but it aint that nasty. I could imagine albs doing just as nasty things with SoS.

But you both will still be ran over by mids. (the mindlessly zerging trolls and dorfs). Just face it...

Yes i know, i got a minstrel with SoS on prydwen *cough*

SoS allows u to totally own many situations, the game is about speed and CC, ppl breaks mezzes on moving targets (just cos they CANT know f its sosed but mezzed, resisted, purged or whatevah) SoS allows u to flee right tru a zerg (ie: holding a relic) SoS allows u to totally own a fight (ur enemys cannot keep on ur casters or stop ur tanks who _should_ kill enemy casters (inestead of break enemy tanks mezz as alb-tanks usually do) ) etc etc etc

Simply theres NOTHING grouppurge can do that selfpurge and curemezzes cannot do for yah, while SoS serves new and different posibilities out of other realms reach.

sigh.. every1 should get selfpurge (most hibs have) specially the ones who can curemezz, dont come saying u need 8 selfpurges rdy in group to deal against grouppurge. SoS is a totally different subject, f u have it, u will use it IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS which will give u an huge advantage.

Mids/hibs wont ever enjoy SoS versatility, the day albs stop moaning and decide to get selfpurge (most albs i know say purge is too expensive = no worth it = dont have purge) and use ur curemezzing, u will b dealing with CC, grouppurge IS NOT that uber...




But as said its pointless.. i wish goa swap those RAs betwen realms in gorre or an event or soemthing and u could feel hib groups + SoS + BoF :lol: while ur buffbots bash grouppurge and yell wtf, why do we lose?
