It isnt mezz that counts, it is stun that is the effective CC in 1vs1. Hibs got that on a caster that can do about 600+ damage 3 times while the stunned just stand still, so ur point was?

I am smite specced but still when out in rvr I try to heal when I am in a group, aint easy cause of the sunky range on heal

Bring me respec and the better healin

Well, mentalists only get single mez, and I DO believe they can kill yellows, especially if they're light speced. Oh, mentalists also get stun (!)

Oh yes, light eldritches also get ae mez, think they can't solo yellows? Oh, they have the stun too (!)

Only hib class that has mez and can't solo yellows is bard. Just like a mind speced sorceror I suppose, only the sorc would solo better than a bard. Mid healers CAN solo yellows, but it takes a LOONG time because of no offensive spells or weapon spec. I soloed Alrindel, yellow ranger to my 49 healer about 4-5 days ago or so.

Let's take a closer look at full spec Ice wizzie and Mana Eldritch.

Ice wizzy gets -
DD with snare
DD with cold resist debuff
PBAoE DD
AoE DD with heat resist debuff

Mana eld gets -
DD with snare
PBAoE DD
Con/Str debuff
Disease
AoE DD with attack speed debuff
AoE disease
AoE Con/Str debuff

From baseline spells

Ice wizzy gets -
Self AF buff
Melee damage buff
Self absorption buff
Ice DD
Root
Fire Bolt
Fire DD
Self BT

Mana eld gets -
Self AF buff
Damage shield
Self BT
Self absorption buff
Light DD
Stun
Void Bolt
Void DD

Using the 220 left-over points, mana eld can get the second nearsight, second AoE mezz, another DD and a Dex/Qui debuff. Void spec isn't so appealing, except for the GTAoE and AoE.
Ice wizzy can get damage shield, DoT (29/tick), AoE DD with snare, AoE root for 26 secs, GTAoE (68 damage). Fire spec isn't as appealing as earth because of no utility spells, just damage, which is pitiful from max 20 spec spells at 50.

Now tell me which one gets more goodies, the hibbie pbaoer or the alb one? Alb casters are too specialized, where as hibbie casters have much more utility value.

Albs zerg, Mids zerg and Hibs do as well. We all mezz, stun and nuke as much has we can.. We shouldn't complain about the other realms doing it (except AE stun - that sucks). Albs have the biggest zerg of course, but not in emain, where u see 50+ of every realm on almost every day.

The reason why Albs can only win, when outnumbering the enemy is simple: They don't put any effort in making effective RvR groups before they move out. No speed, no mezz, no healers, no bt in group - no wonder u get owned by the first few enemies that come along. How do you expect to win against other players in a group that would get killed by a single witherwood pull?

Mids do the same but at least every group has a skald (seems like 50% of mids are skalds) so at least they have some CC and speed)

In my opinion Hibs have the most organised groups in RvR and they do stick together very well.

Quit complaining about the other realms and the game - do what you can within your possibilities and you will do much better.

You sure did! Although many would say that soloing a level 45 elf is no great feat for any class or level that was a very fun duel and I remember it well. Normally I would not attempt a shield carrying orange con Norse, but you were running straight at the spot I was stealthed and I figured I might as well attack first. I got in two arrows, you stunned me and healed, we started meleeing and you used one insta heal during the fight I think, which lasted long after I was out of end. When I logged off later, out of curiosity, I went into the log of the fight and added up all the damage I did to you (about 2600) compared to the 840 you needed to do to kill me. NERF HEALERS!

Hehe, I have about 1350 hp with my own conbuff. It was kinda silly of my to insta stun you instead insta mezing, but I still managed to heal myself once and cast the 40 pac spec attack speed debuff on you before stun ended. You hit pretty fast and damage wasn't bad either, so you scared me a little, but the fight probably lasted long enough that your stun timer would reset and I could use the insta ae stun on you and I still had one of my insta heals left too Healers will be uber when the aug line gets a real buff in next patch (think it's next patch). I'll be respecing to 39 aug then. I think healers will be able to solo any class then. Almost soloed an orange celtic spear hero the other day too as I'm still 49. He missed a heck of a lot. Too bad a minstrel and infil showed up and ganked us both and ruined the fun. Only 0.7 bub to freedom now
