To Middies

I have to say well done to most middies cos every time i fight you lot i get a good fight and usualy get dragged down under a huge zerg, but mids get up close and really dig in HAND TO HAND which is something Albs dont understand.

First thing an alb is do is mez, sit down for a min, nuke you at extreme range then poke you once and you fall over, wow that was worth a trip.
First thing mid does its take out their weps and rush you giving all a good time.

Last night a me and a few mates from my guild and people we picked up along the way went to Upplands for a bit of late night killin, we went to Ygrada first where half afk i saw a minstral and moved away from a few peeps as he aoe mezzed and took on the Bard, with the help of Azimoz he was dead in a second. A min last 4 mids rushed out, 2 trolls 2 norse, both trolls were red and both norses were orange, Odon a firby hero took them on while me and the other rangers nailed the norsemen an Rhox the luri shade stabbed one of the trolls to death, it was all over soon but was a good fight, the mids came out again and got killed but they went down kicking and screaming.
At Upplands we all got kinda broken up cos of confusion but we all got back into a group just as a zerg 3 times our size came out to play, our stealther managed to down a few but man ohhhh man were we squashed, funiest thing had to be our firby Hero in Moose mode surrounded by mids and still managed to kill 2, they didnt see our warden cowering in the bushed so bubble kept him alive.

We got wiped in the end but we had a larf, in end nice one middies nice to know at least mid will give you a good fight compared to insta/mez stun from albs EVERY time.

U seriously got owned a few times by a good group with a sorc it seems...
Its NOT our nukers whom stun u for the duration of 3 nukes and nuke for 615 (!) dmg, even with high resists..its the sad hib nukers..

So please..dont cry here about being stunned/mezzed all the time...get a decent bard (like nicky if hes so good) to handle the mezzes..or stay in Tir Na Nog where the NPC guards protect ya..

But damn right he has a right to raise the issue about zerging, you haven't been where we've been these past few days. Seen the zergs we have. These last days have been extremely Hib zergy, with the occasional Mid. And for a group that actually do prefer to play without a zerg we have been caught in it many times alone. Before anyone else says it, I guess this is how Hibs normally feel. But it's been turned tables a few days now, with only occasional Alb zergs forming to actually allow us to pass amg then spreading out again.

Well well, I didn't know my infiltrator can mezz and nuke! Damn, I must be missing out on something!

From my experience, it's the hibbies that do the mezz (oh wait, it's a bugged mezz that works like stun!) and then proceeds to AoE you to hell. Works well too, just hoping paralyze gets fixed soon enough.

Middies are hands down the best zergers, they don't seem as disorganized as us Albs.

Albs... While we do have capable people, usually it's someone yells "charge", few tanks start charging (and get mezzed pronto), charge-yeller stays back with the rest of the immobile-by-choice people. Look at all those mezzed tanks and that hibbie/middie zerg which the won again. Oops, we have some dead albs again, for the 20th time tonight. Every once in a while the alb-zerg works, funny enough.

How many of those albs are RvR active? How many are more than RP-cows when they go RvR? I'm willing to bet that both Hib & Mid have more active RvR in %. You can't just look at the god damn population numbers and say, "ooh, albs have most people, they must be zerging 24/7, owning us all!", ffs.

RR1 and up, assuming that after achieving RR1 we accept that peeps are active RvR players and all realms have a roughly similar number who are cannon fodder (I dislike the term "RP cows" and it's inaccurate because if you havent the rank your RP contibution to the enemy is minimal):

Albs 43.4%
Hibs 25.4%
Mids 31.2%

In real terms

Albs have 39% more peeps than Middies active
Albs have 71% more peeps than Hibbies active
Mids have 23% more peeps than Hibbies active

ROFL... Play a character to lvl20 and see what happens? You automatically become RR1! That really doesn't mean that every lvl20+ is active RvR-wise, now does it? My armswoman is lvl20 and apparently active in RvR, despite having never been in any of the frontiers or battlegrounds, according to you.

These figures are based on statistics of 8359 chars from all realms. Or are you saying that the average Albion has a different playing style to that of a Hibbie or Middie? I know there are "lies, damned lies and statistics" but if you are speculating that every realm's peeps play a totally different game you are deluding yourselves...but then if you are Albs I guess that goes without saying

297 Alb level 50's (and let's face it, this is where the dedicated RvR is) of which:

48.5% are Caster classes
51.5% are Melee classes

I guess the casters are just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Kinda like buses - wait for hours and then 3 turn up all at once?

sometimes I feel silly standing alone in the middle of 50 odd albs and hitting one of them.
Don't know if they just let me kill that one out of pity, but have often killed one before they kill me (or maybe they just don't belive that somebody would be foolish enough to run into the middle of them - hah - I would )

How many hibs classes have mezz, Bard and Mentalist(if they spec that was)
How many hibs have insta mez, none
How many hib classes have mez and are able to solo yellow invaders, none.

Albs has a class which mixes stealth and group abilities, ie speed, end song etc. Add to that insta mez, stun, dds and combat spec.
Last night Alpha jumped Gray, a lvl 48 Ranger, Gray has 36 in stealth and + 8 with items and he couldnt see Alpha till he DD's and mezzed him. Any class that can put someone at their mercy for any amount of time is complete bollax. And for anyone who think they can counter that remarkl by saying bow/spell range is similar, you can move out of range. One your mezzed/stunned your dead.

Btw Kedal its not very hard to jump a blue con ranger, every time I see a blue alb, unless they're wearing full plate it'd be a very short fight as well, and if you dont consider sniping someone at range isnt a fight, neither is taking down someone 90% of their hps before you even have to draw your weapon. as Kedal displayed, he dd's, mez'd and sat down and repeated. dd once more stun and stabbed me once and I died, wow what an even fight

You got me once upon leaving DL, was there any point in pissing me off while I was grudgingly gonna solo, and I do hate soloing. You would'nt have gotten any rps anyway, you could've at least made it a decent fight by dirtying your blade rather than using spells on a blue
