40 base con is gimped. Con is more important than most if not all other stats in rvr. Having said that, speccing well is more important than having a non-gimped race, you can easily make a celt ranger worse than an elf by speccing it badly.

When you get hit? Switch around some items, I'm sure it's possible to get 100+ hp more with a bit less damage from bow, might save you some day.
