i'm gona agree with outlaw for once here without your uber classes LA would be good...but nothing like they are atm...n lets face it they best guild for RvR on excal. but thats simply cus hib classes > all, i mean whoever heard of half of LA before GP, Instant mess etc etc came in and hibs became so uberly hard to beat in RvR?

oh and we have killed u in odins quite a few times

Treniel.. whats stoping the other hibs to kill the alb zerg? last night we came to emain from odins because there was only 1 hib left there so you seem to do pretty good yourselves (we went to odins in the first place because emain became too crowded with hibs (35-40) )

it is true we built a guild who can offer at least one perfect RvR group and even 2 at times (who stops the albs to choose who to go RvR with and make balanced groups themselves) but that is (frrom my point of view) our credit

The main reason Alb doesn't have "balanced" RvR groups is because it takes up to three of our classes to bring the abilities of one Hib class.

What utter bollox, most Hib classes are one trick ponies also BUT when we got our respecs in the last patch we took the chance to "ungimp" our classes - healers for good heals, nukers out of gimped specs like void into mana, bards to mezz etc etc. This makes a lot of these classes crap as soloers but in a ballanced group really kick ass. Albs on the other hand seem to have gone the other way and tried to make their character good solo but gimped in a group, not really ours or Mythics fault IMO

There are still some issues outstanding - no insta CC for Alb (big oversight) but I honestly don't think Alb classes are as gimped as they try to maintain, but it is a damn fine excuse

Without MOC on their chanters and with a few tanks who know who the mana bombs are you wont have any problems with LA, found that out yesterday

The main thing that kills everyone is tanks not knowing why that elph is running stright for them and just standing there like peons.

Well, sum of us alrdy keel'd a few zerlings then fall in tha inactiveness gap. Whats keeping us in the gap? Actually i pop to rvr in exca from time to time, but its nearly impossible to do any proper rvr since _EVERY_ active rvr player joins an rvr guild and rvr guilds make their own groups (its right, not flaming..)

So when i log exca 100% morale and cant find a proper group after 30-60mins (95% times) Then i log my lowbie bard and start inviting 40sh ppl or recently 50sh... (healty noobs) to bring em to emain and die to their lack of experience etc..

Nowadays exca/hib is still an strong realm but u have 2 choices:

a) leave ur friends, ur guild, and join (if they allow u ofc) an rvr dedicated guild.
b) leave rvr.

This is not rvr guilds fault, this is not a whine/flame post, its just how things are atm, i wont leave LD, i wont leave rvr, i will keep myself in the gap till newtimes come.

Bard casts "Insta win button" - Albs resist due to SoS
Hib Tanks jumps casters, clerics and mincer - they escape easily due to SoS
Hib tanks give up and jumps Alb tanks - Cleric casts BoF - Hib tanks hit for ~50

1) no we don't resist mez with sos up, we will get mezzed, we won't be able to hit your elfs anymore.
2) no heros dont hit for ~50 with bof up (maybe that r4LWnoop ;p) . BoF only absorbs 50% of the dmg not 90%

That's the annoying thing about SoS...if it gets used and any CC is cast on me...I can't cast ANYTHING until the CC used on me wears off. All I can do is...run around.

Come on...someone from LA tell me that I should get EB and haste and go tank a PBing luri who is too small to target using conventional clicking.

SoS doesn't make you mezz/root immune; it makes you mobile but useless if you are a caster.

1)we cant use the exact same things hib use ... we dont have em
2)Like what tactic around what RA ... hit SoS and run ? Most of the things we get to pay for you get baseline then you get RAs on top (RAs wich we arent even allowed to have btw)
3)We zerg ... no tried fg vs fg and 2fg vs 2fg and even one fg vs 2fg and came out on top in alot of encounters. Lately we can't because of the large number of overpowered hibs running around. So we try to zerg but fail because we get outzerged by classes that could beat us with half their number if the player controlling it was even remotely talented.

Let me write you a guide:

1)use castable aoe mezz if you get interrupted hit insta mezz
2)In the unlikely case that you get mezzed hit group purge and go to step 1
3)stun whatever is still moving with whatever caster you choose and nuke him into oblivion
4)place 2 manachanters in the densest concentration of albs hit MOC and gloat over your deathspam (Oo I killed 7 this time)
5)your mezz on the survivors could be running out by now so use the mezz that hasnt been used yet to imobilize any remaining enemies for another minute
6)send tanks at whatever is left and watch em take down a caster with 5 albs tank stuck on em (should try to take down a caster with 5 hib tanks stuck no you bet it wont work)
7)should all of this fail don't release the rest of your zerg will be happy to vulture any albs left after the encounter and rezz you shortly after.

tbh i never even heard of u before u joined LA and now your suddenly the highest tank on the server....i'm not saying LA are crap far from it they are the best RvR guild about, my point is without uber classes and RAs hibs would be NO WHERE NEAR as good as they are at the moment. If mythic got of there asses and made the other realms stronger ie instead of giving everything to hib every patch
