Ok, another question.. firstly, does anyone know the unbuffed cap on each stat ? Dex, Con, +Hits and Int ?
Also im just intrested on what other setups casters have items and stats wise.. Also any tips on what items or RA's to change..

Here are my items stats and RA's (unbuffed).. would be great if you could post yours in a similar fashion :)

Small advice on magic resists is that most people seem to try get all resists up without knowing what they are good for. Check what kind of magic you want protection from. I would say that body resist is the no1 resist to have for Hibbys, while for example the only thing heat resist is good for is fire wizards (who kill a mage pretty fast anyway).

and ye, remove all +stat items and add +75 to all your stats and u got the caps.

Hit points cap is 4xlvl, so at lvl 50=200
Stat caps is lvl x 1.5, at lvl 50 +75
resist cap is lvl/2 +1, wich is 26 at 50
power is same as resist cap.

Just bumping an old post, as my stats still suck :p
In hope someone may have a decent setup, that can cap most stats and give 20+ to all resists :)

Ive spent hours going through mage armour and items trying different combinations but still not getting anywhere.

Tyka is the first person I know with an oddball...we have a guild oddball, but we kinda like amadon...seriously though, there are about 400 people I know who would willingly cut off their testicthingymabobs - just to say they have an oddball.

for stats (con, int etc) is the formula lvl*1.5 (cap is 75 at L50) your race bonus are added on top of this

for resists (slash, heat etc) is the formula lvl/2(rounded up or down, dunno really)+1 (wich makes 26% at L50). your racebonus are added on top of this

for specs (mana, parry, blade etc) the formula is lvl/5(rounded up or down, dunno really)-1 (wich makes +9 at L50)

for power (nothing needed here?) the formula is same as resists (wich makes 26% at L50)

for hits (hits etc ;p) the formula is lvl*4 (nothing more afaik) (wich makes 200 at L50)

I also think(note think) that these for DON'T work as the formula for armorpieces and weapondps wich gives you a bonus if L50+RR5(btw, does a L49 with RR5 cap these as a L50???). the formula for these are:

for cloth (cloth etc) 1*lvl(L50 af50, L50+RR5 af51)

for nonepaper (leather, RF, scale etc) 2*lvl(L50 af100, L50+RR5 af102)

for weapons (spears, staffs, swords etc) the formula is 1.2+(0.3*lvl) (L50 dps 16.2, L50+RR5 dps 16.5)


btw, anyone know how spd and dps on shield works? I think shields might have highest dps possible for the material it's made of, but the spd is a real bugger imo.

they bugger around in Gorge close to Lamfhota and Alianne (spelling?). no large spawnpoint. think they are around L25-30. they can be found inside hibernia to, but I heard those don't drop them. I think those however roam around a lill here and a lill there in Lough Gur. Tho, to get something to drop from them, you need an alt or a friend.

it's your level/5+1

making it +11 capped at 50. it's allways +1, not rounded down etc... ie:

50/5 = 10
+1 = 11

or at least that's what i was told by everyone when i asked, and since i can get +9 not including RR bonuses at level 41 it makes perfect sense to me :)

Just a question on the side:

Tyka, how many hps does 1st aid heal?

Must be a fixed value for casters.
Just thinking if it's 30% of a default 500 hps it wouldn't be worth getting :)

FA 1 is about a 300-350 heal depending on if you are health is below or above 50%, FA2 is basically IP for mages :) could say its about 70-80% heal
