ummmm, there are no hacks that make you stronger or hit harder, faster etc. The hacks show you where people are, so you can attack or run away...an aimbot in DAOC would be pretty useless...agreed?

What you will probably find is that edelia was buffed to the teeth from a full specced enhance cleric that stands very still at the ATK. This makes a HUGE difference to a minstrel character, and with certain RA's (like she would have) they can quite comfortably own a solo hero.

couple of weeks ago i was playing a friend's skald, i hitted edelia for 150 with 2h hammer and she hitted me back for 200 with her 1h sword.
stackable AF buffs + stat buffs make a huge difference, admit it ^^

Rahaha... Says more about scouts than it does about you

High melee spec+buffs, envenom, evade 7+buffs, CD > (even if the scout was 50 thrust your melee would be better) mediocre melee+buffs, shieldspec+buffs, evade 3+buffs.

Oh, and sounds like you don't need IP anyway, what thoughts about game balance does that give you when you have it available as it is, and you already can mop floors with them?

Erhm... I said clearly buffs != skill (in case to those who can´t read or can´t notice "!", it means buffs rn´t equal to skill), I owned that scout coz I was buffed, otherwise it´ll be different. Buffs grant really huge unfair advantage and a sure win more than other to any player (even to those noobs like me)

Tranquil I knew u read wrong due to ya statement, buffs don´t make one more skilled, just make him much harder and many times unbeatable.

Skile, that scout tried to slam me x times got all of em evaded (342 dex and 230+ quick), and at last got no more end to do so.

solution to the buff bot prob?

personally i think mythic or goa should make buffs ranged like bard songs are...if u want a buff bot u have to stick him on and use him otherwise tough. I think that would bring the skill factor back into the game not the person who has the best buffs on top of character class.

Buffbots = 2 accounts = 20€/month = ding ding GOA cash machine sounds

Range buffs = no more buffbots = 1 account = 10€/month = GOA: "Why we r going to nerf a thing which doubles our incomes??"

i was used to be never buffed,adn go alone to solo,then i meet bout 15% of the assasins who hadn't got buffs,rest all have buffs
so i started to share a buffbot whit a m8,and i was stunned what a buffed minstrel could do!! 1600hp 293str 265dex(orso)

till x-mas i won't be buffed since my m8 is gone for a few weeks

I might quote some others posters since i didnt read all you replies but
1) Edelia has a great buffbot <cough> good old graveworm
2) She has some pretty nice resists
3) She sure knows how to play her mincer

Mythic/GOA should consider the fact that people who use buffbots ruin the game for others, therefor the people without buffbots will be more likely to quit playing. This will result in less income as there's less players with buffbots than with buffbots.
