lol, well I don't see any problem with Eble dropping this into #nolby. Sure daoc is a war game, but it also has 3 realms. Nowhere does it say that each realm MUST war with each other continuously and without pause. Sometimes the best strategic decision to make is to 'crossteam' to put a stop to the alb agression. So what.....

This game is played by people at keyboards, thats IRL people with real lives, real friends etc.. I am not a Hibby, I come from the UK. I am not a Lurikeen, I am a Human Being (just).

The best fun I ever had on this game was Bledmeer. An awesome 6hr+ siege with a keep defended by the albs. I would have had like 0 fun if we had just arrived, killed some NPCs and retook the keep. I think organising defended keep raids would be a blast personally. So sometimes, just sometimes, leaks like this might actually bring people more enjoyment ? Just an idea.....

I have observed most Albs appear to encourage this kind of cross teaming by coming onto the boards and slagging Hibs+Mids off together. You actually encourage the other 2 realms to gang up on you, it really is quite amusing.

I couldn't give a monkeys if someone tips off the enemy when we tried to take a keep. As I said before, I would probably have more fun than killing some NPCs. Spying/subterfuge/espionage has been part for war for thousands of years. Daoc is no different....

Well I don't mind them spying for each other, just shows that albion is the superior realm :]
and no not cause we swarm you, cuz there was like 1.5* as many mids defending, as there was albs invading =D
so thumbs up alb - we must be owning alot since they need to x-team :]
but still, the crossteaming at RvR and stuff just makes me wanna uke:
the last few times I've been there hibs and mids have been swarming us, so that zerg thing really ain't an excuse anymore - since it seems to me, that you have several more high lvl than us

that, chesnor, is because you've got both your relics. As it is, relic possession just won't change unless either alb or mid attacks at 6am in the morning, because if any relic forces get blabbed into IRC, we have to sneak 50 people past 2 realm's worth of scouts... fat chance. It's simply not right for hib to ruin an alb attempt on a middy relic.....

While I'm personaly in favor of more communication between realms to form friendships and improve the gaming atmosphere as it tends to encourage people to take things less seriously, this does kinda cross the line.

Has been brought to the attention of the guilds officers, words will be had.

Well if the albs had known that they were going to be blabbed on they could have bypassed the few precious hours of their lives they spent organising the raid.

They could have gone out to the pub and got pissed with their real friends and had sex with real girls ffs!!1

maybe if not 99% of all 40-50 (ESPECIALLY THE FUCKING 50!!!) wasnt out PvN'ing all the freaking time we wouldnt have to rely on irc-talk and hibbie scouts in odins.

this is so sickening, every1 is down in malmo powerlvling their guildies

today when hibs raided in mid fronteer, a certain lvl 50 guy from a certain well known middie guild (no names needed) was called by his guild to come to malmo, even tho hibs had taken 2 keeps and was banging the 3rd. He didnt go, but omfg! and its not like we hadnt informed over /as about this and ppl must have notived the spam that pops when a keep is taken.
It just makes me uke: !

Im lvl 50, but u rly dont need to exp 24/7 and u rly dont need to be lvl 50 to rvr.

and to make things even worse, most ppl either stop playing or reroll within a week after they ding...
A little advice to all u sub50s out there; stop urging the magic 50 so bad, its not so damn nice actually. Go enjoy ur char thru different stages of lvls instead of exp 24/7 untill u ding 50, u will end op being sick of the game eventually.

Yes it would be cool if some spying network could be set up, stealthers delivering secret messages to the other realms (and of course with the possibility of them being intercepted), but the issue is that it isn't DAoC we're talking about here. DAoC has no function for messaging people of other realms for quite clearly stated reasons. Taking outside communications to this level is really sinking low, I guess next time Albs want to plan a stealth raid it will include hostile takeover of #nolby, fakenicking or causing technical troubles for a few chosen people. Cause hey sabotage has ALSO been part of war for a very long time.

I'm not saying it won't feel sort of sick nuking someone for the cause of a raid, but hey it's you who set the playground. Welcome to the next level.

The game is set up so that differant realms can't communicate with each other to stop this kind of thing.

If wankers like Eblessair & Aeiedil get round it by using irc it's the same thing as cross teaming.

My list is probably about as full as yours Arthwyr this bollox and Albs starting to hide in walls now, don't think I have 2 long left.
