And what is not fair about a solo inf fighting a solo ranger?
You are aware rangers have pretty decent melee? And IP, purge and avoid pain?
They are in no way an easy take down for a solo inf, atleast if the ranger is not afk.

I hit for 100-130 main hand and infils hit me for 200-230+ and offhand 100+ really decent

And yes....a rr8 ranger with all his ra's up might be able to kill an infil.

A rr6 ranger with his ra's down is the same as a rr1 ranger.
Fa2,IP,Purge,TS.
We cant spec in Dodger,MOP or tougness to make our char stronger...
If I win a fight....its a 30 min rest if I wanna win next fight.

I've seen Meduza (solo) "farm" hibbies at hpk....non-stop....something a ranger cant.

With AP3 and Purge up you stand a 50/50 chance to win from own experience.

AP is still very nice tool to have.
With my scout I could beat an SB attacking me once every 30 mins, with purge and ip up.
With AP you can add another one to that list.
ap2 = 19 points (aug con 3 and ap2) maybe better to leave at ap2 for only 19 points instead of ap3 which will be 29 points
IP = 23 points (FA2 and IP)
Purge = 10 points
So with your rr6, you should be pretty close to being able to get these RA's.
And all this game has become is a question who's RA's are up.

So true. If they game mechanics have worked from the beginning there wouldn't have been any need for stupid/active ra's.

Its quite boring to stand and fall with Purge. Kill someone, wait for 30 minutes, kill someone...zZz.

Must be even worse for hunters with IP/AP.

All active ra's should be turned into passive ones. Say Purge for example; instead of just purging away everything every 30 min there should be say a constant chance(20-30%) each round that a negative effect vanish.
