Aye lol, you were pretty fast on the rez button then. I remember at one point we dropped your shaman, then before i could even sheath my weapon and move the rez animation was on him and the corpse vanished.

And looking at the emblem on Jaond's avatar i recognise it as the colours the group I thought were giving us the toughest fights were wearing, even if you were only 6.

Barring the first run (when we were 4) and the last run (when we finally got the last 2 people to fill to a fg, a couple of us changed char too) we were a steady 6 throughout aswell. Bard (46), champ, hero, druid, animist and chanter.

Nice fights all night, except the last run (when we were fg) when both fights we got into we had the other 2fgs adding. So we suicided then and went to odins instead.

HG take 1-2fgs to HW occasionally and generally meet either 2fg hibs, 2fg mids, a 5fg keep-take force, or absolutely nothing.

If we meet a smaller bunch and win they usually pick themselves up again and come back, a few more of them, or their RAs are up - get some good fights out there.

We occasionally annoy the odd luri/kobbie stealther duel (we'd probably consider letting an infil finish his business but mid vs hib fight is just asking to be broken up )

oh and we make sure we save TS for whenever we hear jox is about obviously because we're there entirely to annoy him and no other reason.

tbh, playing a Ranger and an NS, i can honestly say, i dont like getting rolled over by 1fg + of enemy but its even worse when you roll over a Stealther whose 1 on 1 with another stealther. Atleast have the decency to let them finish the fight, then roll over the winner, pampering your Ego with how Uber and Great you are to have completely and utterly PWND that Stealther, cos yeah you did pwn him didnt you?? and share the minimal rp's amongst your group

But come on guys, if you see a 1 on 1 and your an FG, leave em be to fight it out before you gank...

People asking why we take 2fg's to HW, simple answer is that when we say we are going rvr (HG this is) dont turn people down. We dont go out with the perfect group setups, hell tonight we had one smite cleric as our only resser.

We try to make rvr fun for our guild and turning people down because they aren't good enough or don't have the right spec or the right char in my book is plain bad manners.

So yes we may run 2fg's, but to be honest 2fg's of HG is more like fighting one FG cos we are so bad

Also in my opinion more activity in Hw is good, if you look at most servers, most of the rvr goes on in emain, and to a lesser extent odins, speading the load through HW aswell must be a good thing as you reducing the population in the more populated areas to make good use of the zones which are less populated.

So we all know what less popualtion means, yes you guessed it less zerging, woot fun for everyone!

A month or so ago HW saw a lot of activity, personally i love HW as an RvR zone, there are a lot of con mobs in difficult places granted but it seems much more open. Problem with Emain is you will inevitably meet up with other groups and zergs will form, there are far to many bottle necks.

we had two thanes too, although the other was only lvl 45ish. We got 3 killspams from you, nerf us thanes.
I couldn't even navigate up the stairs so I was just spamming hammers onto the wall

We'll give you a rematch, it wasn't that unbalanced, afair only a couple of us were lvl 50, our healer was 45 and we had two shammies (or was it one) and a hodgepodge of 45-50 characters.
We'd been to odins and gotten wiped in 3seconds by a rr10 pbaoe group so went to hw and you were the only group we managed to kill that night. Got killed by a bard a chanter and a hero after that due to being out cc'd and we came back to find 1fg+ camping the gate so just gave up and went to df.

But yeah, that was a fun fight, like back in the old days with truely random groups.

Last night was funny though - five of us (2 paladins, a friar, a minstrel and my little smite cleric - ok 49 Myrmidon ain't very little really) took on a hib group we spotted (well ok the friar driving tried to run away but I decided to smite instead ) we killed 3 before they dropped us - was rather proud of that
