To Albs at Bg3 last night

A great night with some very good fights.Apart from 1 lame alb necromancer bug abusing called Deathsdisciple who was putting pet inside ck and bridge,and with us being unable to target/see pet he was ofc totally immune to all our attacks.All the mids there where happy to keep comming back to fight u all but his sorry lame ass display of cheating towards the end of the night tottally disgusted us mids,we thought we actually had some albs who where prepared to fight us away from the ck for a change but he ruined it for us by bug abusing.Icconu the other necromancer was fun to play agaisnt and some nice gt baiting tactics going on by the others albs there sorry if i cant remember u all.We wanted to try take keep from u but couldnt target deathsdiscple's pet when we tried to attack the gates so again bug abuse was damn annoying,cant u sort your own ppl out plz instead of backing his cheating up just leave him next time for us to give him his what he deserves a good kicking. before you flame me i am NOT defending bug abusers/cheats etc etc.. but afaik deathsdisciple was hiding his pet UNDER the bridge... as its common knowledge necro pets ignore LOS "as with chanters and other pets from other realms" so if his pet was under bridge "i didnt go check but oi remember him saying he put it UNDER " and you didnt actually go under the bridge to find pet that why u didnt see it.. IF he was bug abusing report him because i as much as you hate cheats and all cheats deserve to have there acc's baned..

as for bug abuse in keep . thats just a los issue same as with all pets. everybody does it.. bd pets running through walls/doors same with sm pets, hunter pets , chanter pets etc etc. its all los when its at a keep afaik so before you say somebodys bug abusing durin a keep raid . uless his pet is INSIDE the wall he isnt cheating any less than mids/hibs pets do .

but on a different note. yes bg3 was fun last night my friar got a fair few rp's and some good fights. he not there no more cos after BG went quiet i went and exp'd and dinged 36 so now i got the long road of exp to 50 "not looking forward to it"


and again if you suspect him of cheatin and have proof "ie screen shots time etc etc. report him"

Untill next patch all you have to do is be smart...

If a Necro hides his pet in bridge,

Pbaoe is the bain of a necro hideing his pet,
Second, a smart necro will never attack a pet class,

Pet was not under bridge because i looked there first hand when he started attacking us mids.It was inside bridge not under it.

No sloth all we want from u necromancers is some decent fights,not the sorry tatics of some of u when we can't target your pet when its nuking the shit out of us when we trying to put up a decent fight agaisnt u well it kinda defeats the object of trying cus its not a fair fight is it ? I dont care if i die and never really have done in rvr as long as its a decent fight and yes we had some decent fights,is it too much to ask that u dont use these bugs no i dont think its too much to ask do u ?

Is it fair, when you have a enchanter pet nuke you, while the owner in a safe place?

Is it fair, when Bonedancer send his pets on you, and you can't find him?

Try playing a necro before you saying there abuseing bugs,
The pets are a pain,

We usally put them in a hard place to find and put them on stick..

Also use tatics, very easy to get a necro pet.. i just gave you few pointers,

yep good night had by all I think. lets not let one POSSIBLE bug abuser put a downer on it. We ganked and got ganked, seemed a fairly even set of battles. Even the hibs finally managed to field a FG, but once they lost a few fights they ran home .

LOS bug is NOT a bug abuse according to GOA's latest news post. It is bug abuse if you hide in a location making you un attackable.

Not sure if it was a lag bug or what, but there was a mid, archer caled Bu..... something or other who was in the 1st willow by mb. i could just see his name, i could select him, but could not attack him....lag bug ? bug abuse...not sure....but I will be checking that willow regularly from now on, if you try it again Mr. middie I will report your ass ! So maybe not just necros are possible bug abusers ?

Ad Glorium was the FG (well 6) of Albs roaming and kicking middie butt...and getting the odd kicking too We'' be there tonight (Monday) too, but prolly not a group til 10 ish. cyas then.

They have been a lot of good battles between albs and mids. More fun in there than RvR

Hard luck to the mids on the keep take in the early hours of this morning . The pbaoe and gtaoe was a leathel combo.

that's the beauty of it - it's not a lifetap it's a powertap, same thing but instead of getting hp back u get power (more than the spell costs... so effectivly i never run out :>

its about 3 powertaps to kill kobbi/valkyn caster in bg i found (4 for dorf, 4 for norse).

resists? pah

mabye they should make us like chanters and give us a 50% spirit debuff (hell chanters get a debuff to their own damage, why not us ?)

Bug exploit :

With the coming of the Shrouded Isles new classes and some new abilities of these classes, some bug exploit problems came back to the surface. With this news, let's clear some points again :

First, what is a bug exploit for us :
Basically, a bug exploit is when a player finds a bug in the game and uses it repeatedly for his own profit. Today, we will mainly see bug exploiting in RvR situations.

The most common bug exploit is to use geometry holes in order to position your character in an unreachable place, giving the exploiter the freedom to kill any players coming around, with little to no risk, since the victims cannot attack back, unless they themselves exploit the bug. This can be using roofs, bridge holes, etc. All players abusing such bugs are bug exploiters and can be punished. This rule also applies to pets.

Now, let's look at the recent discussions. The problem comes from the line of sight (LOS) of pets. In the current version pets can attack from range through solid objects. Players using pets normally, in a keep defence for example, and sending the pets through the doors are just playing their class normally, nothing wrong with that. Maybe it is not really fair play, but the issue will be fixed in a coming patch and there is no "bug" exploit in this case.

The good news is that the LOS problem will be partially fixed in a coming patch, which will solve a lot of issues.

That explains why a Necro can place his pet under a bridge and fire at you...

Sloth why do u have a hard time understanding that deathsdisicple's necro pet was inside bridge not under it ? I do have screenshots of underbridge at time of deathsdiscple being above it killing mids with no fear of pet being targetted why do u think he wasnt dead the 2nd that we saw him on bridge because we couldnt target pet to kill it and he knew it.If he hadn't have been bug abusing i wouldnt have even bothered posting on this forum cus it would have just been another alb death bid deal so what /release.Strange thing is i dont see him posting here defending himself by not saying he wasnt cheating so until then he's a damn bug abuser.

I was there as well. I checked under the bridge when he killed kelan, and there was no pet there. It was inside the bridge. And, nuking. Got screenies of it. The next day he did the same. Got additional screenies. The thing was reported with 6 screenies total to GOA. Up to them to check it out.
