I'd guess these app developers will port their adult apps to android to still make money from them.

Apple seems to have made a silly error here, surely parental controls and age verfication linked to a credit card or similar would have been much more sensible?

Dont be silly. Apple customers cant be left to think for themselves. That would encourage them to see the poor value in the tat they buy from st jobs.
