you only see how many 'gems' they have. the more gems, you get a different message. for example 1 gem is 'xx is on a distinguished road'.

im just gonna throw it all in the whoo-ha here now.

i say dont bother with forum titles for people to spam their way up to (like the old Deity 'n earther's from ye olden forum)

they should be handed out only on a special basis, like the unique titles.. just have the likes of "regulars" and "lurkers" as titles for everybody else.

Then instead of spamming - you get loads of ppl begging for titles instead.

Custom titles are not a right, as will states they were the result of something catching one the the admins eyes etc....where it be funny or annoying etc.

well at least a beg can be overlooked, multiple posts by someone racing for the top like one-word answers like "moo" and "" are more irritating and waste space.
