Anyone else use tiscali email.
FFS, I change my address from hotmail to lessen the spam, then the Tiscali site goes down for like 3 days.

Cant even find a support number. :(

Tiscali are great. I stopped using and paying for their dial-up when I got meh ADSL at the beginning of the year. I just use my Tiscali mail account, but they still send me free stuff for being a loyal customer. :D

My mother was very pleased with her copy of Alan Tichmarsh's Garden Designer.

And on an unrelated note, just notice Nildram have cut the cost of my ADSL by £12 per month. Thanks very much! :)

booooooo

I was using tiny online(no laughing at the back) and it wasn't bad. I got connected all the time, the webpages came up at a speed that I didn't mind...you know normal modem happy days type thing. Then tiny go bust(due to them selling piss-poor pc's for 500-odd quid more than they're worth) and I suddenly become a tiscali patron..... que my connection going all pooo-ey :(

AFAIC tiscali are crap.... I'm hoping to get ADSL in the next couple of days it's just getting off my fat arse and doing it! Was going for Plus net...you know self-install jobby. anyone got a better ISP?

Well, as ever I'd highly recommend Nildram for their ADSL. Not a single problem in the 5 months I've been with them, and always excellent pings and download speeds. They (along with almost everyone else) are doing the wires-only kit, which is where it's at. This is all assuming you can't get cable in your area.

I've heard positive things about Pipex ADSL, too but can't vouch for them.

I'm still with Demon although I connect via ntl cable modem, Demon have nearly always served me well & I know they're doing a self-install ADSL cheapo (£50 + £30 per month) now.

Summo, where's your helmet at?

I added it when I started the Welcome-A-Newbie Army but recent events crushed my enthusiasm for that. :(

Anyway, Demon have always been the dial-up daddies and so I'd trust their ADSL too.
