Lets face it the game does not cater for the casual and unbuffed player anymore even in Thid. Just played for half an hour and nearly everything is totally buffed. One pally playing unbuffed but? TOA gotta be all over this game now.

I died to a necro even though I damaged it for 750.

I died to Quest a buffed elf. Filmed it infact. But something occured in this fight I have never seen before and that was the incredible amount of damage being taken away. Never have I seen it this high even on albs with the damage reducing buff. -18? How is this possible? All I can think of is TOA is doing it.

Honestly I am glad my subscriptions run out in February cos you just gotta throw money at this game to play it now. At least 2 accounts if not 3 as a Mid.

Can someone explain how my 2 handed plunderer was reduced by 18? And close to 10 taken off my single handed pillager which only produced 30-35 (at the most ever) anyways?

Hit the elf for 80 and have 18 taken off? That equates to a lot higher than the 15% max resist you can have at Thid level. 15% of 80 equals 12 in my reckoning. An additional 6? taken off? You looking at over 20% slash resist at Thid level? Unless my maths are wrong there is more at work here than just ordinary slash resist for sure.

Anyways am not really bothered. Bothered more by the state of the game overall. Really has gone from bad to worse now. Imagine if you tried to play this game as a newcomer? No buffbot and no sc or TOA? Wot on earth would you think of the game when you got to Thid? You would be totally and utterly annihilated.

Unless Mythic to a re-think on this game bigtime I really can't see how it will draw that many more new players. I for one wouldn't recommend this game to anyone now. Absolutely appalling. If you think that I am bitter cos I lost a few fights - nah. Taped the fight with the elf and took her down real low before I died even. Must have been toa'd to the gills though because damage from her was terrible even after my debuff.

All I can say is rather you lot than me cos the game is real nasty now for sure.

hib leather has 10% slash resist, therefore 13% (+ racials if any) + 10% = 23%.

but of course u already knew that cos u know everything.

also toa in thid? please most of it dosent affect u apart from perhaps a +10 ish stat cap, an extra 10 str or whatever isnt going to make a lot of different, stop blaming the game for your mistakes.

Think anyone that has played this game long enough knows that I know hardly anything cos I never take much notice. Even so that is a bit bonkers. 23% slash resist and our armour is slash weak?

Anyways I gonna leave the game to you lot cos it really is so bad now I passed caring.

Would you lot design a game like this one? Hell and you lot talk about me being barmy? Who the hell is responsible for game balance in Mythic? Whoever it is is far far more unbalanced than I am that is for sure.

You telling me that you can be buffed and then 10% of that ontop? If the buffbot got toa how does that affect the buffs? So how many extra hits do you end up with? Wot the hell are someones stats when buffed normally and then toa'd ontop?

wot u on about gone from bad to worse??? sc has been in the game yonks and theres always been that lvl of resists....only diff lately in last 6 months or so is ToA and that ahrdly affects bg tbh and few players have proper toa stuff maybe just a big flashy weapon.

and im telling you this game has always been like that with resists...and you cant seem to realise that just cos they have racial resists+capped resists, they can get the (-18)...you just too dillusional to realise this and have to blame it on something else.

and people have had to rely on buffbots pretty much since they started to be widely used, which must be about 2 years + now so u cant really start blameing that just now, thats a long temr cause not a short term cause.

Also, no one is making you pay for the game, you still have for however long and you have nkown about the issue of buffbots and you have owned them, so either quit moaning about them and play the game and still "pwn" people or just go away.

I actually like playing this game. To unwind for an hour or 2 at times is good for me BUT! - I can't compete at level 50 and to be honest with you I can't compete at Thid level anymore without a buffbot. All the fights I end up in are incredibly hard. My damage is appalling even on a buffed caster never mind anything else. Without buffs on any opponent I am quite happy. I still have great fights and so do they. But I hardly ever come across an unbuffed opponent anymore. I was taunted for weeks about being buffed and once bitten twice shy. I ain't gonna go down that road again!

I simply refuse to pay for a 2nd account. Mythic have been blatantly dishonest and have taken my money off me for so long when really it is unnecessary. It is nothing more than exploitation. For sbs to be at least a bit balanced against the other stealthers means not just one buffbot but 2. This brings us upto the buffs that luris get. That means 3 accounts to play this game. I mean who is being made to look a fool here?

I ain't apologising to Daggers cos the guy should really have been banned by now for telling me to piss off so often. I am though going to apologize to my own brain because I have allowed this game to get under my skin.

Game is great and I have had immense enjoyment from it but I just will not pay extra money for something that is just not needed. By doing so I have more or less made the game too hard to play for myself. Isn't this an incredible bind to find yourself in yet you are paying for the game anyways?

I think you spot on with dark age prices that why i dont play it no more .
They dont tell you when they start the game as new player on (dark age )that you need 2 players at the same time too be any good.
It not untill you been playing some time .Then you realise some time in the game that you need a second acount .
It wouldnt be so bad if they made the second acount cheaper.
