the game is what you make of it, though i think NF is utter shit it is still playable, though far harder to find good fights. if you cant adapt you should quit no point doing something you dont enjoy

RvR was tough last night, it wasn't the fact the albs were zerging it was the fact that there were so few Mids and Hibs.....

I reckon Hib had the same amount of people in it's own frontier as Muylaetrix was zerging with.....

Aye the game is past it's shelf life... just not much better out there to play...

Muylaetrix was running 2fg+ most of the night, looked like all same guild (blue cloaks no emblem.)

White cloak, boars head, blue V. i was running with half a group for most of the evening. Only later in the evening i ran with a fg and still later we had some BG sorted out and started taking towers and a keep.

RvR was tough last night, it wasn't the fact the albs were zerging it was the fact that there were so few Mids and Hibs.....

I enjoy this game as much as the first day i started playing it. been playing computer games since i bought my first c64 in ... was it 83 ? No other game i played came close to this one tbh.

past it shelf life ? why do you think they bring out expansions ? to extend the shelf life.

as far as i am concerned this is the only true Mmorpg. and boy, do i like the MASSIVE multiplayer aspect of this game. no other game offers Realm VS Realm (or army vs army). This is the only game where there is a strategical level, not just a tactical level.

For me the alb zerg of recent weeks is killing the game, walk outside DC to get a boat and get nuked down by albs, perma red alb cup on DC bridge, quite often the largest cup. I understand everyone has a right to play the game how they want, but it's really killing the game for me, uncovered by (random scout/inf) then nuked for 4x 500+ by one of the many many sorc/caba's running about.

So feckin what? The TMM groups that are out are made up of guildies or various classes and rr. Even 2fg of them are comfortable for a decent balanced group to take out, or are you saying that a group that includes scouts, heretics and various other classes, often of low level, should only go as 1fg to be farmed by any decent balanced group? Absolute twaddle, as usual.

if it would still be all the same, more players would've left the game than have done it so far (is that good english?).
some changes are good and some bad. first online game i've ever played, and prolly will be the last. not going to quit anytime soon though.

ps: i miss my old in-game friends too (brea,lloth,chef etc)

DAoC, despite all it's flaws, is still one of the best PvP games around.
That said, soon as something better comes along - and I don't mean something that'll hold your interest for a month or two I mean something that'll really fill it's shoes - 99% of population will quit. Only makes sense.
