As Qte already expressed, the diminishing returns on Determination is pretty much non-existant (cost increases per level, but so does the effect).

100 second mezz.

Det. 1 = 15% shorter = 85 seconds mezzed for 1 point
Det. 2 = 30% shorter = 70 seconds mezzed for 2 points
Det. 3 = 45% shorter = 55 seconds mezzed for 3 points
Det. 4 = 60% shorter = 40 seconds mezzed for 6 points
Det. 5 = 75% shorter = 25 seconds mezzed for 10 points

i.e.

Det. 1 costs 1 point for a 15% duration reduction.
Det. 2 cost 2 points for a 17.6% duration reduction.
Det. 3 cost 3 points for a 21.4% duration reduction.
Det. 4 cost 6 points for a 27.2% duration reduction.
Det. 5 cost 10 points for a 37.5% duration reduction.

So, there is diminishing returns, but it's much less than any other RA. IMO, if you have a class that can buy Determination, then take it to level 5.

how does that stack with regular resists?

eg
100 second body mez
with det 5 (75%)
and 26% body

?

which would factor in first?
(i assume they dont compleatly stack ie 75+26=101)

i would guess, the body would be counted first, then the 75% of whats left from the body resist?

My skald 29 second mez lasts around 17-20 seconds against most SCd classes.

This was already explained above.

100 sec mezz would be 25 secs after determiniation, then resists are worked out after that, i.e. 26% off a 25 second mezz.

So a 100 second mezz on Det 5, 26% resist is 18.5 seconds. Adding AoM and buffs turns it into more like a lag-spike than an uber-mezz.
