Whats the story with the time on this forum. Why is it always 1hour behind what GMT should be?

Anyone know?

It's a mystery you only ponder about when truly bored.

Talking of which, when do the clocks go back? It's pretty soon, isn't it?

Forum times are in GMT / UTC. (Greenwich Mean Time / Universal Time )

Currently UK is on BST (British Summer Time), which is an hour forward of GMT.

Clocks change on the 27th October, which moves UK back on to GMT and keeps the farmers happy.

This clock changing idea is stupid!

Why dont the farmers just get up an hour earlier??

Why do we all have to wake up in the dark?! Its just not fair. I think a protest in the country is in order!

Sell them a copy of The Big Issue and see how they leik them apples!

No, that's to make sure that people aren't still getting rat arsed in the small hours of the morning so they can actually get to work the next day ... isn't it?

Strange that other countries dont seem to have that problem...

The Law does go back to WW2 however...iirc

...but England always resists change!!

I believe it was to maximise daylight hours so munitions factories could increase production in the First World War, iirc.
